I recently retired and so far I love it! I have a wonderful husband who is semi-retired. My only child is married with two children and they live on the West Coast. I have two cats that we got at the animal shelter and a dog someone gave us. We love them like children. We dabble in antiques/collectibles, and although we are not getting rich, we enjoy it. We live on 3 acres in the woods. We have all sorts of birds that my husband keeps fed and happy. We also have a herd of deer that come to our salt block but have never bothered my flowers. We have done all our own landscaping since building our house three years ago. It has been hard work but very rewarding.
