I believe Sleepless in Seattle is my favorite movie. I like any movies with Meg Ryan or Reece Witherspoon.

I am fond of old country music, the new stuff is too rock influenced. I admire Faith Hill & Tim McGraw as their love shines through in all their music. I also like oldies from the 60's as those were my teen years and most easily remembered with events that brought me happiness.

I get lost in Romance novels, light mysteries, and biographies of people I admire.

I love most colours as long as they all go together in a quilt! Sometimes when I start looking at different fabrics, I can't believe how nice they look together.

Anything I don't have to make myself. I love pasta dishes, fresh fish on the BBQ, but not too fond of fast food like just burgers and fries.

I live on the beautiful Vancouver Island. We are tucked in very close to the Washington State border. I love the beautiful gardens and the fact we do not suffer winter like all other parts of Canada. I have 3 wonderful adult children who mean the world to me. I have one daughter in law, and I am patiently waiting for the announcement of a grandbaby in my future. I have just had my 60th birthday and on the downward slop to retirement. I work at our University in the Sports Medicine Department.

I love visiting with my friends and spending time online with my online friends as well. Also, it's so nice to get my kids all together to enjoy a celebration or just to have a laugh or two. My dream relaxation is just walking along our many beaches which surround the island. It gives me an opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet in our busy world. Hugs make my day!!!

The only things I don't like are inconsiderate drivers, exhaust fumes from diesel buses and trucks, and asparagus. Oh I also do not like dishonest people.

I have lots of hobbies. My favorites are quilting and sewing, counted x stitch, digital photography, some gardening, and would love to know more about scrapbooking. I may have to wait till I retire to take up any new hobbies.
