It's been a long time since I went out to a movie. Mama Mia just came out and I HAVE to see it!

I am a real fan of Rod Stewart - anything by him. My favourite song is For the First Time. I enjoy Kenny Loggins - he sings For the First Time and I like his version very much. I like any type of music except rap and heavy metal. Rock and roll is here to stay - it will never die!

I don't read as much as I should. I enjoy books about nutrition and how to improve one's life through eating right. I read "The Secret" and truly believe in what it says. My favourite fun reading is Danielle Steel - and I have some all time favourites by her. I have a few special 'writings' - Footprints and the Deserata to name two.

I have several favourites - pink, aqua, various green shades, certain yellows. My preference is for vibrant shades - ones that make me look alive. I am sooooooo pale that I have to watch what I wear so as not to appear 'washed out'.

Cooking is one of my passions and I get a lot of compliments. I really don't like cleaning-up; but it's part of the job, I guess. My all time favourite meal is roast leg of lamb (with mint sauce of course). Fun foods - good pizza would have to rank as my fav!

My friends mean so much to me. I don't have many close friends but those close to me know (I hope) how much they mean to me. Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe!

What can I say about ME? I love to travel and my trip to Australia was the highlight of my life. WOW! I come from a very closely knit family which was bought about my my mother and father immigrating to Canada when I was young.

Loyalty is very important to me. I adore my family and thank them from the bottom of my heart for being there when I have especially needed them. I have loyal and expect the same from those close to me.

Superficiality - to me that is dishonest and I detest that in a person. To my knowledge, there is only one person on this planet who despises me - I don't like this and it hurts me. I work nonstop to accept the relationship we have. There at times when I become devastated by the fact that this is a fact that I must live with.

Jack of all trades, master of none - that's me! I like to crochet afghans, sew for my granddaughter and do 'fix-it' jobs for my family. I like gardening and decorating my house. I love to cook and try new recipes. The computer has been a great 'friend' to me for many years. I truly appreciate the friends I have made via my 'puter and how it facilitates keeping in touch.
