I have been married to my best friend for almost 45 years. We had two wonderful sons. My youngest son passed away from brain cancer nine years ago. My oldest son lives here in Knoxville.

I love the feel of a cool mountain breeze, the way a baby smells after a bath, the sound of children laughing.

I can't abide a thief or a liar. People who are rude and mistreat older people or helpless animals.

I love to hike in the mountains. I like to crochet and knit things, I call it my sanity therapy. Most of the things I make I give away to friends.
