i have a new grandbaby! no. 17 and this one is local! mary edna jane, born november 4, 2008.

i am a horse-crazy person, have been all my life. i had a horse when i was a teenager until i got married (big mistake). it was only six years ago that i got involved in horses again. and have been really enjoying it.

i also enjoy various arts and crafts. when i taught ccd (religious ed.), i implemented a lot of crafts with my 'children'. i do a lot of folk art painting, even cut out my own wood pieces that i am painting.

i sew, made a lot of clothing for myself and my children when they were small. i am now making my own horse show clothing.

a few years ago, i learned how to make quilts. i have completed several and am currently making a quilt for each of my children and stepchild.

i worked 20 years in houston, texas as a legal secretary, legal assistant and office manager in various law firms. i am not working at this time.

i have a 3 year old palomino paint filly with blue eyes, that i have been showing at various horse shows, a local area show, paint horse shows and pinto horse shows. we are currently in training leading up to western pleasure and horsemanship. up until last summer, i was only showing her in halter classes and showmanship classes. we have been doing really well.
