Good morning. I am off to a slow start this morning. Due to some light snow, my exercise protocol has been canceled. I have decided that it could be slippery and not to take the chance. I shall be in massive depression the rest of the day for having not gone. So be it! It did not seem too cold this morning when I went out and threw out the water. I believe it is 23° but considering how cold it has been lately, this does not seem bad. And I was semi decent so it is not like I was dressed for the occasion.
I got out and about yesterday. I did not get things done the way I wanted. I was unable to find anything to use the $10.00 coupon on. The coupon is for $10.00 and of course things that I thought about buying would have come out to $9.99. I could always buy a couple of items. I actually thought about buying some pillows but I believe I have about 20 new pillows now. They are already cluttering up my house and instead of using the new pillows I continue to use three pillows that are dilapidated. Whatever! Failure! While I was at the mall, much to my chagrin, I discovered that Sears is no longer with us. I was expecting them to stay open until after Christmas but they are done. Obviously they are not done online as of yet. Every day I received multiple emails from them for great deals. The one thing I thought about buying from them before they left was a stove. I am certainly not going to buy that online. In either case, that makes three of four anchor stores at the mall deceased. I used to spend a lot of time there drinking coffee and conversing with people I knew out there. I guess when we have the luxury of technology, we shall miss some of the old things. And then of course to top off my day yesterday, I deactivated my motor vehicle in the garage and forgot to go to everyone's favorite store. Now that I missed my exercise, maybe I shall walk there today. It is approximately 1½ mile each way. So it would be a form of exercise. It will be a game time decision.
I'm leaving you now with the knowledge that I am sequestered in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. I shall make the most of it if possible. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! A postscript: I did manage to get back to sleep this morning for an extra couple of hours. See you later alligator.
Good morning. Another cool morning, about 15°. Fortunately, no wind. When I got home from my exercise I realized how cold it was. I was taking off my jacket and when I touched the outside of the clothing, it was like a refrigerator. If there would have been a wind, it would have been terrible. And to start things off, I met an arch enemy of this writer, THE BEAST OF THE NIGHT. For those of you were not chronicling my life, that is the fox. I had that incident about two years ago where THE BEAST OF THE NIGHT threatened me in a different area. It was much the same this morning except it did not come as close as two years ago. As a matter of fact, just yesterday another beast, I think it was a skunk because it went into the sewer, crossed in my path. The thing about both of these incidents is that they occurred on a major thoroughfare. In either case, I have returned to my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE and I am relaxing in my Ready Room.
Once again, my agenda has not been finalized for today. I'm thinking of activating my automobile and mounting a safari to the grocery store and a couple of other places. This is not time sensitive so uncertainty is upon me. I have that free $10.00 coupon to use at the mall and I certainly wouldn't want to go out there on the weekend. I was surprised to hear how crowded the mall was last weekend considering they have lost two anchor stores with another one leaving at the end of December. I used to like going out there for coffee at Gloria Jean's. That was before I made my own coffee.
I leave you now with the uncertainty of whether the world will end today or sometime in the future. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
it's been a long day so far...last night my parrot got outside, it took me until 3oclock this morning to find him, thank god i got his wings cliped so he could'nt fly very far. i have been using warm towels on him all day, looks like he will be alright...he's in his cage with his sister eating now...not really sure how he got out, i probably accidently left his cage unlocked, and when i went out to fill up the bird feeders he snnuck out..i was so scared he would'nt make it, he was so cold..i've had him since i was in college...love him so much...well enough of my drama, hope your day went well, and you have a nice evening...hugs
HELLO MY FRIEND WELL UPPER MAINE IS 35* AND THE WEATHER MAN IS CALLING FOR MORE SNOW 8 TO 12 INCHS I REALLY HOPE HE'S WRONG ABOUT THAT HOPE YOUR DAY IS VERY GOOD FOR YOU. LOVE N HUGS WITH MANY BLESSINGS MARGE
Good morning on this Tuesday morning. A rather cold morning. It is about 16°with a windchill of 4°. There also was some wind and that did not help. However, I have survived the course and shall continue on with my day. I have changed my agenda for today. I was planning a couple of things that were etched in granite, but I have decided it was not imperative. One of my neighbors who continuously inundates me with baked goods wants me to assist moving some kind of piece of furniture from one residence to another. I am not certain of the time nor the place. Whatever! It is my fault for conversing with someone when taking a constitutional around the neighborhood. When I am in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE, I am unreachable. But then again, occasionally one needs some dialogue that is not produced electronically.
I think the temperature is going to rise to 25°later today. Hopefully it will not be cold if I do go out for an agenda. I'm hoping you have a good day. My current status is the usual for this time of day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
well we got snow but not quite what they predicted, it's so pretty...starting to decorate the house ...but too early for a tree. i always get a real one . the cats will sure be happy when i put it up...lol...hope your week starts out good for you...hugs
Good morning on this Monday morning. When I went out for my exercise this morning, it felt cold. It actually was 23° but it felt a lot colder than that. I fear the cold weather is here to stay. At least I had this weekend to ride the motorcycle. I'm hoping that we do not get too much snow so that I can still have several excursions with my motorcycle. That being said, I should have moved to Arizona. Nothing on my agenda for today. I may hibernate in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. There is a possibility of a constitutional around the neighborhood but that would be a game time decision. Tomorrow, maybe I will show some activity with my automobile and take a trip out to the mall. I shall see if ambition peeks its head my way.
I leave you now in the hopes that you have a good day. Reality has appeared for those of you who have a real life. The rest of us shall remain in the virtual world. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
