Hi Edna, the sun is out here now, a little bit anyway. We had storms blow through late last night and it's turning cooler now. We are in the process of taking down and putting away Christmas. What a job! And never as much fun as taking it out and decorating. Hope your weekend is good and you are warm and cozy.
Oh my goodness freezing rain will be showing up over night and then snow is coming by the buckets full on Saturday until Tuesday morning in our area for all to enjoy while being safe . Blizzard snow conditions off and on during these days so needless to say and I will be toasty warm indoor these days. We were to have our family Christmas gathering tomorrow and it still will come on another day but on a day Mr. Winter is done with the hissy fit.
The grandchildrend are so happy to have some more fresh snow to play with before going back to school. For me I will enjoy seeing the snow coming down while I am reading a book I received from Christmas and drinking coffee and or tea.

Just had to share this clipping. My Mother would make a fruit cake at Christmas time for the whole family to enjoy when I was growing up. Such memories! Later years married and children of our own a friend would make our family a fruit cake from her mother' s recipe of years past. It was such a treat to receive this yummy in the tummuy fruit cake for all those years. Treasured Memories! The old fashion fruit cakes were very heavy , moist and delicious. Smiles Gloria
The spritz cookies are now baked and I have already tested some to make sure they taste just like a spritz cookie. hahahah yummy in the tummy. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Hope your day is being nice to you as it is for me today for the sun is out and shinning on the snow. This snow is not snowman snow but Angel snow light and fluffy.
