It is raining with thunder and lightning for at least the next couple of hours. I was working on some old videos from the 60s yesterday. The quality is poor but brings back some thoughts, both good and bad. I had to figure out how to work the projector and screen again. I got to Walmart yesterday but unfortunately I always go early and miss seeing the funny people coming in. The new DVR, and who knows if it is new, does not want to cooperate with my stereo speakers. Only one will work. The problem is not my speakers. I was talking with my provider yesterday and she told me it has to be plugged into the TV. That does not work with my situation and I know it worked plugged into the other DVR. All is lost. Woe is this writer! Fortunately I only use them on the TV when I brush my teeth, at least 99% of the time. My analysis is that there is something wrong with the plug on the DVR. Good morning. I woke up and heard the rain on the side of the house. At one point earlier, about 11 PM, I had to get up and close the window. About 3AM, listening to the rain, I found myself not wanting to get up. It was peaceful, but then, an occasional thunder and lightning. I have no walk planned unless it is later. About 6 AM an excursion to the store, though it is a Walmart. It is not an emergency. They used to be open 24/7. Like everything, not good for this writer. The installation of a new Bishop today. I wonder if I will be called upon to speak. You know, introducing him and so forth. He is from Detroit so he will not know a lot of people here. Hide from the rain. Good morning. Because of the incident with my technical support yesterday, I shall have to go to church this morning. I am not used to going on a Sunday any more. I am going to the Cathedral which I did years ago and now only make a cameo there. And now the Mass does not begin until 7:30. I would rather go at 6 like in previous years. Change! Humbug!!! Maybe I shall try to do my walk downtown before Mass. Game time decision on that. I have come to the conclusion that my problem from yesterday was my own making. Good morning. Happy Saturday. I opened my windows this morning to get some fresh air into the house. The temperature in the house is not really too bad. I think about 73° F. However, I have been hearing rumors of pollen and other things in the air that never seemed to bother me at an earlier age. I suspect that some of those alien things now have an effect on me. Nothing serious. Just something to let you know that you are alive and subject to things out of your control. I got out yesterday for a nice walk and then I went to church. That was it for the day as far as doing anything. In either case, while at church I had a chance to become an art critic. I went over and took some pictures of the new mosaic which I am including in my newsletter this morning. It actually looks better than my picture. I don't exactly have a camera without mirrors so consequently it loses something in the translation. I have nothing planned for today. I will be getting out for a walk in approximately an hour from my keystroke of the computer. I am hoping to visit every web site on the Internet over the weekend. I will also be attending the obligatory Mass later in the day. I would much rather go to church during the week than the weekend for several reasons but in either case, that may be it for the day. Good morning. For the last few days I have been inundated with something from another planet. First it was a cough and then some things I was not able to put my finger on, and now, a minor sore throat so far. I was planning on going to the space station but that plan is off the table. I shall persevere. It is Friday the eve of the weekend, so for people who have a life, enjoy yourself. Yesterday, because of the rain and so forth, I did not go for my exercise. she was one of the best screamers I have heard............ until a month ago or so, in the Mother's room at church of some little girl.
Remember when we were children, and yes............. I was a child. This is how we watched television lying down. My mother did not approve but as long as I did not do it with the living room console TV she looked the other way. My dad thought it would create eye strain.
