Good morning. Current status: snow storm. Getting about 10 inches. One inch per hour. Waiting to shovel in the daylight. Perhaps around noon when it will taper somewhat. The alert until midnight tonight. Proper terminology: Humbug! Have a good day. I shall be in seclusion. Ciao for now and watch your wallet.
If you're not supposed to eat at night, why is there a light in the refrigerator?
Good morning on this Monday morning. Back to the real world for most of you. The rest of us......Limbo. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello my sweet friend. Stopping by to say happy sunday. Hope the weather is good to you. Its cold here. Storm is on its way here tuesday into weds. Was thinking of you.
Sending pretty comments your way and want to say Happy Valentines Day.
Thank you so much for the Birthday comments. I love them.
I hope you have a good night. Ill be back on the weekends.
Good morning on this Sunday morning. It has warmed up considerably. It is 15°at 4:00 AM. We are heading to 22°and this is a vast improvement as of late. Unfortunately, we have a winter alert for snow. Nothing extravagant, up five inches. And since I do not need to go anywhere, the only inconvenience is shoveling. I was able to go out this morning to throw out the water without feeling cold. I wasn't even dressed properly. However I did have the decency to put on a robe in case someone was looking out their window. It was 4:00 AM but it was after a Saturday night and one never knows who is returning home rather late. I am reporting no agenda for today.
Have a good day. Tomorrow we go back to our real lives. At least the people who have them. I got my quota for reality yesterday when I talked to a couple of people at the mall and the grocery store. So I should be good for the week. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Have a good day my dear friend and a wonderful weekend. It's a warm day here in Florida and should be close to 80 degrees ahead. Peace and love to you , Yvette xoxo
Good morning. It is MOVIE DAY however, there is uncertainty due to the quality of the production. It shall be a game time decision. I'm not even certain what time it starts although I suspect approximately 10:00 AM. We got some snow yesterday and it is not as bad as I thought. I think some of the outlying areas got quite a bit more. I woke up and went out and pushed the shovel at approximately 2:30 AM. I was not planning on completing my task. I thought the cold weather would be worse. It is -4°. Apparently I missed the windchill by a half hour. The windchill warning started at 3:00 AM. I saw one of my neighbors motion lights go on at approximately that time. Under the circumstances, things went pretty smoothly. The snow did not have too much water content and therefore it was light to shovel. Most of the time I was able to just push the shovel. The bad news is the high for today is going to be 2°. And then of course tonight, double digits in the negative temperature. I am guarding against my drain freezing up again as it did a couple of weeks ago. Whatever!
I have no agenda for today. I shall not be activating my motor vehicle. And so it comes to pass that the only thing on the horizon for today would be the movie theater and that is in question. Have a good day on this the eve of the weekend. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Good morning on this Thursday morning. It is also Garbage Day. I shall not be participating because of a lack of garbage. If I get the ambition, I shall participate from the standpoint of moving my neighbor's garbage receptacle out to the alley. I believe she is in an illicit relationship with someone and is never home to fully participate in these activities. I think she is staying in a different colony where the rules on garbage pickup are different and thus transports some of her garbage to this location. She had made a cameo yesterday and I would assume will she has placed some garbage in the receptacle. This will be a game time decision for this writer.
The winter weather is bad. I went out this morning and threw out some water and the temperature seemed reasonable even though I was not dressed for the occasion. We are under a winter alert, again. Tonight the temperature turns cold. Negative numbers. And then tomorrow night, negative numbers in double digit. This is depressing! I shall be guarding against freeze-up of some of my water fixtures. February is the cloudiest month of the year in my backyard. I shall remain stationed in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. Yesterday I was planning on going for a constitutional in my neighborhood but it was too slippery. Instead, I seasoned my sidewalk.
Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. If you live in California, winter storm closed all roads in Yosemite National Park on Tuesday. All Yosemite roads closed; 7 feet of new Sierra Nevada snow. People can't even get to the ski resorts. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy New Year. On this New Year Day, winter has re-emerged in my backyard. Freezing temperatures and so forth. Winter alerts, that kind of thing. However, nothing is bad as we have just had in cold. After this record cold temperatures, we had the warm spell of temperatures in the forties. We had quite a bit of rain and melting snow. There's a lot of water sitting around. And now with the freezing temperatures, it has frozen. Glancing out my front window, the street looks like a skating rink. I did not even bother going outside this morning to throw out the water. If I do that, I shall wait for the light of the day to see where I am walking. In either case, this completes my report of the weather for today.
Yesterday I completed my task to my supplier. I returned a converter box that I never use and that I was paying $7.50 a month to rent. Much to my chagrin, when I arrived, there was a line. I was not expecting that as I am not good waiting in line. The only thing that made it bearable was the anguish and pain of some of the people in front of me that were unable to complete their task. And I was the only one including the person at the desk who probably knew the reason. Their website was offline yesterday morning and therefore they could not use their computer programs to complete their task. In either case, I knew there was some urgency in my arrival at their office. Today is the last day of that rental. And I knew the roads would be icy every morning. At least I got to hear some dialogue in real time. I even participated for a brief time myself. I suppose some people did not like me when I was laughing about them standing in line to pay a bill when they could have paid it online, or in the alternative, on the telephone. I also went to the mall and watched people walk. I participated but not to the extent of some of these people attempting to be in a hurry. I actually do not enjoy my journey to the mall as much as I formally did. There is only one anchor store left and I really don't get coffee at Gloria Jean's any longer. And some of the socialites that used to sit around on the benches and have conversations are no longer there for various reasons. For nostalgia I sometimes go into Barnes &Noble. They have a nice coffee shop in there where I occasionally see someone I knew from a former life. But for some of these people I hasten by to past them. And of course there are some people sitting around on the comfortable chairs reading books. I often wonder if they are going to pay for the book or they are just coming in there to read it and put back on the bookshelf. Whatever!
Have a good NEW YEAR DAY. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
