Discernment
Posted On 09/27/2008 16:20:40

In this year of a presidential election, I receive an incredible amount of email from well-meaning friends concerning the candidate(s) of their choice or the oppposing party.  I urge everyone who receives these emails to be responsibly discerning considering their content.  Please remember that antagonists on both sides are trying their best to smear and undermine these candidates.  Records of all candidates can be found on-line and it is important that we study the truth, not the lies and tactics that are being used via these emails and other communications.  Anyone who visits my page will know where I stand, but I respect everyone's right to their opinion.  I do ask that you also consider the state of our economy and our country when you go to the polls.  America was in the black under the leadership of Bill Clinton.  The economy was strong, people were working.  (I do not appreciate the moral breakdown of President Clinton, yet I believe that is between he and God.  I do not believe I was put on this earth to judge him or anyone else.)  Concerning voting, I urge you to do so as a right and a duty.  If you haven't already done so, be sure to read the rant by TC in the latest issue of Cloudeight Information Avenue.  Again, discernment, it's very important in this very crucial time of American history.

God Bless, Amethyst
