Not bad here, just goes back and forth with sun and rain. At least I got the lawn mowed last weekend before the rain started again.

We got quite the snow storm during the week, haven't had this much snow for quite some time. On Monday it started snowing really hard while at work and as it was piling up we were all wondering if they were going to send us home. Finally they decided to shut down and told us to go home. It took me a good 15 minutes just to get all the snow off my windows so I would be able to see and of course my hands were frozen as I didn't have any gloves with me. People were having a really hard time getting out of the parking lot. I am so thankful that I had purchased an SUV with all wheel drive about 6 months ago which made it a little easier to drive in the snow. Had I still had my little Toyota Corolla I would have had a difficult time driving the 11 mile commute home. We had a late start everyday for the rest of the week and a lot of people called out due to the snow. At least by Friday the snow was pretty much all gone from the roads. Anyway, I just hope that is the end of it lol.. I'm sure many others are experiencing the same situation, so stay safe out there.

just letting u know how im doing from the surgery .my arm is still hurting .but it getting better. thinking about my friends on here .i took some days off of work . i try to go back on sunday just hurt a lot . love u and miss u all. from miss whisler.

For the first time in the 45 years I have been with the same company we are having the whole Christmas week off. (yippee!!!) I go back to work on the 30th. Well, 2023 is coming to an end. Where did the time go? And soon it will be 2024, I'm sure there will be fireworks going off around the neighborhoods. As for me, I'm just going to have a nice quiet evening with a bowl of popcorn and movies on Hallmark and Lifetime channel. And who knows if I will manage to stay up till midnight to ring in the new year. Whatever it is you do to celebrate the new year, I hope you have fun and stay safe...
