Waiting for a Cloudeight Direct Care customer to reboot- She is using Avast full suite.. lookie what I found so far.
This is ridiculous for anyone to have this much malware - her system is crawling. My plan is to reset the hijackers in all her browsers, reset her search hijackers, clean off any other suspicous programs, optimize her startup, remove Avast, install and setup Emsisoft AntiMalware/Antivirus, run cleanmgr. then do a restore point.
One of the many reasons we recommend Emsisoft and also, for those unfamiliar with our Direct Care Service, it might give you an idea of what we do during a Direct Care Session.
If you have not tried Emsisoft, we hope you will - we offer it at a discount, and we offer it with a swap out from your current antivirus and do a nice cleanup to boot.

Sharing Personal Information: I wanted to give you all a reminder that sometimes people are not who they seem, and may try to befriend you or flatter you, and try to get you to give them your personal email, or more. I hope you will all take this very seriously; unfortunately, that is the reality of the web and social sites.
If someone is asking for your private information, tell them NO. If they persist, tell me - contact me by private message or by using any of the contact us links found on the bottom of each page.
Alarms should be someone who coincidentally starts having much in common with you, both privately and religiously. When someone starts calling you dear, sweetie, and other terms of endearment, and "confide" in you, those are warning signs. I have been on the web since the early 1990s and have seen it all.
If you are sharing site personal messages and comments back and forth on the Hill, you are safe. The other members cannot get your personal information unless you choose to share your personal email/address/phone. Private information like this on the Hill is confidential and not accessible by another member. If you think someone is trying to deceive you, or has bad intentions, let me know and I will watch for any violations of Terms here.
If you have given your personal email to someone, and you are concerned, change your email address.
And if I find anyone messing with anyone on this site, you can bet I will get all the information I can and I will bring in the proper authorities.

BREAKING NEWS:
Microsoft Security Essentials:
It's official -- Microsoft says you should use something else
All Windows Users
We pulled our support for MSE over a month ago -- and we had been doubting it for some time while we waited for independent AV testing lab results. We had been recommending Emsisoft Anti-Malware, which is also a top antivirus -- since July, and we realize that pulling our support for MSE and at the same time recommending a paid antivirus/anti-malware may have seemed self-serving. But it was not. We don't base our opinions and recommendations on how much money is in it for us, not even when the chips are down and we are struggling financially. We watched as Microsoft put a dedicated team in charge of MSE's development and watched as Microsoft slowly started to neglect MSE. Eventually, we think, MSE and Windows Defender (in Windows 8) will no longer be available -- as it seems to us Microsoft has changed their focus.
Today, October 4, 2013, we have been vindicated (again!) when one of the top tech newsletters apologized for recommending MSE for so long after they should have pulled their support and recommendation.
Again, we were ahead of everyone else when it came to recognizing the decline and the demise of MSE. We were the first to expose Malwarebytes when it stopped being a viable anti-malware, we didn't believe their blog that told everyone they were going to be great again, and we were right. And we were right about MSE too. We saw its decline coming; we watched as Microsoft let it get worse and worse and denied it. All the independent lab tests confirmed what we suspected, MSE (Windows Defender on Windows 8) was going downhill and could no longer be trusted to protect Windows computers.
We invite you to read this article by How-to-Geek:
Goodbye Microsoft Security Essentials: Microsoft Now Recommends You Use a Third-Party Antivirus
Microsoft Security Essentials (Windows Defender on Windows 8) was once on top. Over the years, it’s slid in the test results, but Microsoft argued the tests weren’t meaningful. Now, Microsoft is advising Windows users to use a third-party antivirus instead.
This revelation comes to us from an interview Microsoft gave. Microsoft’s official website still bills MSE as offering “comprehensive malware protection” without any hint that they no longer recommend using it. Microsoft is not communicating well with its users.
