Wishing my  Friends A Blessed Christmas.

It's Christmas time,
And I wish you well.
May the Lord bless you
With the best of health.

I hope the stockings are hung
And you're filled with wonder.
There are so many surprises
For you to ponder.

May your children be merry
When Santa brings toys.
Some for the girls
And some for the boys.

I pray you have food
And plenty to eat.
Turkey and gravy
And lots of sweets.

I hope your family's there,
Friends and neighbors, too.
Wishing You all a Merry  Christmas and a Happy New Year
From my Family and to all of You.

Big Hugs and kisses,

Grace

Christmas in the Philippines.
Posted On 12/07/2022 01:43:35

Here in the Philippines, for Filipinos Christmas is one of the most important holidays.  The Philippines celebrating the  longest  Chrismas  holiday around the world..Started on  September we heard the Christmas song by Jomari Chan played in malls and radio.

We started decorating our home  from September , October , November and  finally December 16 , the Misa Gallo  or  Morning mass held every 5 in the  morning, to thank the Almighty for the birth of Jesus and praying  for the things your heart desires.  We believed that whatever you asked for during this Misa de Gallo or Simbang gabi , will granted.

Filipinos love to celebrate Christmas with family, relatives, and friends. It is the time of the year when Filipino families usually reunite and do things together with much fun, vigour, and festivities.. Filipinos working abroad go home to be with their family this time of merry making , enjoying  parties, fiesta , watching fireworks contest in Mall of Asia, the largest shopping mall in the Philippines. .

On Christmas eve  , we open our home and invite friends and foreigners to join us  on Noche Buena , we prepare abundant foods with different local and foreign cuisine .

Foreigners love to come to our country , as they says.. Filipinos are most caring and hospitable .  we treat them nicely,  and give foods .They always like Filipino foods especially  chicken adobo  , cook with sauce sauce and different spices . They also love to eat delicious delicacies and sea foods.  They enjoy staying in Boracay beach, one of the best beach in the world.  The  airplane fare is so cheap and people  around greet with a smile. :)

Christmas is also a beautiful time of giving. It is when families and friends come together and give gifts to one another to celebrate their love for each other and exchange gifts .

For our family Christmas is also a celebration of Christ’s birth and God’s unspeakable gift to the world.

It is always a wonderful time that brings our family together as we reach out to others... It is a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings.

Thank you so much for reading my dear friends...

Merry Christmas from our home to yours.

Love you  and God bless us all ,

Losing someone

Losing someone.

Two weeks ago my best friend and considered a Sister for 17 years was passed away.  I cant believed that she's already gone , while we were happy attending our Christmas pary last December . First she always complained  of a stomach pain so her husband brought her to the hospital and we all shocked , her laboratory test  results is that she have a severe colon cancer and it's on stage four. I was so worried and praying for her and visited to the hospital , giving her strength that with God nothing is impossible, hoping that she will survived .  All her friends and family support her hospital bills , until she decided to leave the hospital and stayed with her family at home.  She said she was praying she wanted to live longer for her only son.  We are all praying for a miracle till one day she surrendered her life with God.  I am so devastated because we are always eating lunch together , she is always smiling and good in cooking , she brings food to our office .  We are neighbors and our working place is in one building.  She was cremated last week , I cried a lot because I will missing her so much.  I prayed she is in God's hands and happy now with the Creator.

Sometimes an end of a friendship, relationship , feel like a part of us died.   Losing someone close to us, either to death or disconnection, can potentially lead to broken heart syndrome  which include chest pain and shortness of breath.

This means that physical symptoms may occur with emotional pain. By experiencing these emotions, we can allow our bodies and our hearts to heal. As we allow ourselves to grieve, we can find strength, courage, and resilience  behind this pain.

At the time that we might feel weak, lost, and broken, that is when we have access to our greatest strength.

This pain is part of being human…the fact that we can feel pain like this is our greatest strength.

Now I started to move on and accept that my dear  friend and Sister is in the hands of the creator. So Help me GOD. .

Thank you so much for  reading my Blog.

 Have a great time.

Be Patient.

Be Patient.

This incident was happened to my neighbor.

A man came out of his home to admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year old son was happily hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck.

The man ran to his son, knocked him away and hammered the little boy hands into pulp as punishment.

When the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital. Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had to amputate fingers from boy both hands.

When the boy woke up from the surgery and saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, “Daddy, I’m sorry about your truck." Then he asked, “But when are my fingers going to grow back ? "

The father went home and committed suicide.

Think first before you lose your patience with someone you love. Trucks can be repaired. Broken bones and hurt feelings often can’t.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take while in a rage will haunt us forever.

In the Bible in the book of Psalm 37: 8

“Don’t give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble.”

Have a nice day /  evening my dear friend, thank you so much for reading my Blog.  Hugs

Thank You Almighty God.

Last Sunday , I and my whole family are so worried about my Mom. She have a high fever and dont have an appetite to eat.  We are so worried because we felt she is so weak,  she ate only 2 spoon of food on lunch time. I gave her an antibiotic for her Urinary Tract Infections and watching her while sleeping.  I whisper a prayer to GOD to heal her soon, because we dont want to bring her to the hospital to avoid from corona virus.  She slept a longer hours and when she woke up she is smiling and asking for food . I asked her  Mom are you Ok ?  Yes , she replied but I'm hungry.  I  served her a chicken soup , delicious foods and fruits to relieved her hunger.  We are all so happy and hugs Mom.  God is really  so good all the times, if we have faith in Him and  believed in His promises in the Bible

Thank You Almighty God, for always being my refuge, my guidance, for being the first I share anything with, and for loving me and my family unconditionally.  No amount of words can ever express my immense gratitude for everything  You've given me.  Your grace has completely filled my life and my family with everlasting joy and endless goodness.  I surrender it all to you.  I praise You and glorify your name with all my heart and soul. Amen.

Your good deeds can change the world.

“Every Sunday morning I take a light jog around a park near my home.  There’s a lake located in one corner of the park. Each time I jog by this lake, I see the same elderly woman sitting at the water’s edge with a small metal cage sitting beside her.

This past Sunday my curiosity got the best of me, so I stopped jogging and walked over to her. As I got closer, I realized that the metal cage was in fact a small trap. There were three turtles, unharmed, slowly walking around the base of the trap. She had a fourth turtle in her lap that she was carefully scrubbing with a spongy brush.

‘Hello,’ I said. ‘I see you here every Sunday morning.  If you don’t mind , I’d love to know what you’re doing with these turtles.’

She smiled. ‘I’m cleaning off their shells,” she replied. “Anything on a turtle’s shell, like algae or scum, reduces the turtle’s ability to absorb heat and impedes its ability to swim. It can also corrode and weaken the shell over time.’

‘Wow! That’s really nice of you!’ I exclaimed.

She went on: ‘I spend a couple of hours each Sunday morning, relaxing by this lake and helping these little guys out. It’s my own strange way of making a difference.’

‘But don’t most freshwater turtles live their whole lives with algae and scum hanging from their shells?’ I asked.

‘Yep, sadly, they do,’ she replied.

I scratched my head. ‘Well then, don’t you think your time could be better spent? I mean, I think your efforts are kind and all, but there are fresh water turtles living in lakes all around the world. And 99% of these turtles don’t have kind people like you to help them clean off their shells.

So, no offense… but how exactly are your localized efforts here truly making a difference?’

The woman giggled aloud. She then looked down at the turtle in her lap, scrubbed off the last piece of algae from its shell, and said,

Sweetie, if this little guy could talk, he’d tell you I just made all the difference in the world.'”
