Hi there my friend, I'm coming your way to wish you a happy Wednesday! It's a beautiful day here in Norfolk. Hope your day is filled with lots of sunshine and smiles...
poem I wrote ---( Shame On Bullies)---BY S. POTTIE /4/2013.) Every second of everyday someone is born or taken away And yet there's too much hate & not enough love The victims of bullies are all around us They cling to the hope from God up above To help them & save them with His Love but with no help around they hide away in their PAIN Each day is torment for those innocent souls Trying to find peace & love where none can be found There's nowhere to run so they hide in their Fear Some are strong but others fall down And pray that tomorrow will be a better day A ll those kind SOULS can't understand WHY They suffer in silence & feel all ALONE SOMEONE HAS TO STAND UP FOR THOSE INNOCENT SOULS There's too many victims crying for help We all must find away to stop this S-H-A-M-E For all those bullies who can't give love Should look in the mirror & see whats above There's beauty in everyone & everything you see The bullies can't see cause their eye's are shut tight Still we pray for a MIRACLE to save all those souls All the VICTIMS OF BULLIES in CLASS OF THEIR OWN So shame on those bullies may they soon see the light Hope GOD can forgive them & they soon do whats right
I had a busy weekend. I had my dear Grandchildren and on Saturday went down to the Church for an Easter event where they made Easter baskets, decorated cookies and ate them, played games and then hunted easter eggs. There were two eggs that if you found one sliver or one gold you would get a special prize.. And my oldest grandson found the gold one! He got a wonderful Action Bible he loves and was really reading it and he even let his sister Jevelle 7 read it too.. They both thought it was great. Not cheap either. They all had a wonderful day. Then we came home and had an Easter dinner. Then on Sunday went to Church and heard a sermon then went to the Dollar Tree as their Uncle Tom had given them each a dollar and amazingly it was open. Then their Dad came and got them and took them over to their his wife's mother's house for another Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Dinner. Then Shane forgot to to stop by here and get their clothes.. So I drove them up to him at their house in Walpole NH. Anyway that was my weekend Although I did go to the school on Friday and helped them out there too. It was so much fun and even helped the one teacher make Green Eggs and Ham.. Boy I was tired after I got done there but it was so much fun.
Well take Hugs and hope you had a wonderful Easter too.
For some of us Holy Week is busier with more church services. Good Friday we went to an ecumenical service at our local Episcopal church at 12 noon. The night before we saw a good friend in church and he said if you want to experience what church should be try it. We had pastors from the Mennonite and United Church of Christ, First United Presbytarian, Maygar United Church of Christ (Hungarian) then 2 more Church of Christ then Asbury United Methodist then First United Methodist and finally Washington Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). It was one of the nicest services I have ever attended and we were from all walks of life different races and all different beliefs but what a nice service for Good Friday. Our pastor usually takes part but his associate is badly crippled now so he is alone and had stations of the cross at noon.
