Yes, my daughter and hubby came and went with no problems. New Year's Eve we watched a movie that ended 3 minutes before midnight, therefore, we switched to NY and watched the ball drop. No big deal.
I agree, Holidays over and back to normal ... whatever that is.
Have a great week.

Hi, Bob I was thinking I had answered this note but it's still sitting in my comments box so must not have.
I'm glad there is a preventive measure you can take to avoid the trouble with your locks again.
We had a doozy of a December here in IL, but I'm not sure how many records we broke. I read that January is to be at or slighty above normal in temps.
I hope your daughter and her husband were able to make it for New Year's Eve with you. My husband and I stayed home and had a very quiet evening. We had a nice meal then drank wine and played Wii.
I'm glad the holidays are over. Now things can start getting back to normal.
Have a good week. Sharon
Hi,
I have steel doors and heavy commercial-like locks, not just where the key goes. The locksmith showed me I should spray the locks with graphite.
We have had a record snowfall for December and more tonight. The wind now is 35-40 mph.
One daughter lives in Chicago and she and her husband are coming here for New Year's Eve-weather permitting. My other daughter lives in NYC. When she came for Christmas the flights before and after hers were cancelled. Lucky!
Hi Sharon, I am glad that you had a wonderful New Year! You sound like you know how to have a lot of fun. Whoops Bill is call Bill1944 on the hill. He is in my guestbook and in my friends. Hubby made a wonderful meal of Steak on the Grill, Mashed Potatoes and those wonderful Italian Veggies. It sure was great after a first day back at work. Hugs, Donna
Hello Sharon, He is Bill Briggs44 and a great guy. He even sings in the church on Sunday. It was crazy at work and I sure was wishing I was ON The Hill. But I finally caught up at the end of the day. Thanks for always being there and being such a good friend. Hugs, Donna
So glad we've become friends. Just noticed we are both same age, been married same number of years, and a lot more in common. So I hope our friendship grows, and I feel it will. Sending you hugs, and blessings Anne
