A few years back on the tv news in Australia we saw images of boat people throwing children over board some time later, other views that were videoed by members of the Australian ship were shown on tv what these showed was the refugees boat was on fire, members of the aussie crew were in the water wearing life jackets and calling to the refugees to throw the children to them, the Howard government was in power at this time an the whole crew were arrested when the ship docked the captain who allowed them to video what was actually happening was demoted I think the rest of the crew were re deployed, not sure about that Howard was a dictator who had one interest, kissing the ass of george w bush, Howard was a little man who wanted to play with the big boys, I was in hospital when his government lost the election you should have heard the cheering when the election results were shown on tv, even better Howard lost his own seat in parliament, that was the icing on the cake, I know we need to be careful with letting refugees in to avoid terrorists sneaking in with them but we must help they are families just like ours, in many cases only the skin colour r and place of birth might be different that’s not important to me, we are all humans, I have 2 son-in laws a big white kiwi and a giant black  American ex seal, they are both really nice men, I would be proud to call either of them son-how they would feel calling me dad is another matter----lol
