I am sooo proud of my husband, Fred. He qualified for the Boston Marathon in Corning, NY on October 5th at the Wineglass Marathon. He just received his acceptance email Monday!! We will be going to Boston next April for the marathon!!! He is a 7 year cancer survivor and just wants to inspire others stricken with the disease to fight and never give up. He began running in 2004 at the age of 56 and has completed 7 marathons. He is running this Sunday (Nov. 2) in the marathon in Raleigh, NC.

I just have to say that last week, we welcomed the most beautiful baby boy into the world. Noah Frederick (after his Pap) Smith was born at 5:23 AM on Thursay , April 3, 2008 to Jennifer and Todd Smith. He joins three siblings of Todd's by a previous marriage, Todd Jr., Trevor, and Trinity. This is a wonderful addition and I pray that God blesses this wonderful family richly.
