Good morning. Fought the good fight this morning. 19*F, some wind. Did not feel bad until the last mile. Must be some kind of wind tunnel or something. And of course some of the sidewalks are unkempt and the roads where I prefer to walk are not the best in places. If it were not for the men in blue I would do the whole exercise on the roads. Nothing more planned for today. Maybe a constitutional around the neighborhood. It is supposed to rise to the freezing mark. Yesterday I received my Christmas card from the city. The property tax bill. They like to get that to me right around the Eve. Now the decision will have to be made on whether I shall fight the crowd at the City Hall to pay it or just remit online. I like the receipt for the tax return but it is not essential. Game time decision. I would have to start the car to do it in person. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Good morning. Looking out the window, it looks like we got a dusting of snow overnight. I am not going for the walk this morning as it is probably slippery. I'll probably get outside later to move some snow and air around. Maybe a constitutional around the neighborhood. It is 22* heading for 27* later. Then tonight, 4*, but I think that is going to be just one night and then some decent temps for a week, for this part of the country. I was looking at some weather reports and it said we got 9 inches of snow. I doubt that but the snow was easy to shovel. I think in about an hour from now, 5:30 AM, we are going to get a dusting of snow and then it will be done for the next decade. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning my dear friend! Hard to believe Christmas is only 6 days away. I wrapped my granddaughters presents last night. I’m getting a second steroid injection tomorrow in my left sacroiliac joint. I had the first one in March and it helped tremendously. I’m hoping for the same results this time. Greetings. 28* and it is not going to get better than that today. Temps heading down and snow in the next 48 hours, albeit only about 3 inches. The wind seemed a lot colder on the walk as I went south and that is the wind tunnel. I did it to relieve the boredom and to elude "my John the Baptist". In either case, I went to Walmart yesterday so I may go to church today without anything else. I took a walk to the bank yesterday to clarify the situation with the calendars. Everyone can feel better about that even though it is not a done deal yet. They told me they gave all the money to the Confederacy that they use for the planners.
