My husband and I own a rural general store in Northern Victoria. Times are tough as this part of Australia has been in drought for nearly 10 years. I'm at the shop all day every day so to break the monotony I love spending time researching, "playing" and socialising on my computer. It can be pretty erratic though as it has to be done between jobs and customers. Which means plenty of interruptions.

My hobby is climbing the family tree. I have been researching my family history for the last 10 years. I began by trying to find out more about the family of my mysterious grandfather who came over to Australia in the 1930s and right up until he died in 1976, never spoke about his family in New Zealand. It has been a very interesting and enlightening journey.
