My favorite Christmas Movie.
The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies. In July we visited Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg, Austria.Parts of the movie were filmed here. A most beautiful place!

I have a large christmas cactus that I love. It's pink and is in the full bud stage right now.It will burst into bloom any day.It always reminds me of the Walton Christmas Movie where the mother comes up from the basement carrying her blooming cactus.The only bright spot in a Depression Christmas. |
Fudge is my favorite Christmas Candy but I love the childhood memories that ribbon candy brings.
Watermelon is my favorite single food. Mexican is my favorite ethnic food. And of course CHOCOLATE! |

I have been married to Greg for 43 years. We have 3 children, Lance, Joel, and Lacy and 3 grandsons,Dustin, Coby, and Jayden. Greg is retired from Cargill, a meat packing plant where he worked in sales. I have been a registered nurse for 42 years. I retired Nov 2 of this year.That date marked 37 years of employment at Parmer Medical Center in Friona, TX. So far so good! |

I enjoy collecting hand beaded christmas ornaments. My entire tree is decorated with them.Many of them are vintage and made of velvet, pearls, and lots of bling.Some were made for me by a very special friend who is no longer with us.Others I have obtained thru Ebay.So pretty.
I love to read! I enjoy crocheting,some knitting and various crafts.One of my favorite things to do is browse card shops for "just the right card" for that special person in my life. I also like to surf the internet. That's how I discovered this site! |
