Happy Thanksgiving. I trust you recovered from BIG WEDNESDAY. I got an early start on the walk this morning. 2 AM. It was cold even though it was in the 20s. Maybe the moisture, and the wind. It really seemed cold walking north into the wind. I decided to go to Walmart for a piece of ham. As I neared the destination, the store was dark and the parking lot empty. It was closed!!! I thought of going on their website last night to see if they were abandoning all of the customers but time passed and so did the thought. I ended up going to a different store, and instead of getting the ham, I opted for a fresh pork loin filet, dry rubbed with garlic and herb, but it will take 1 hour in the oven. Ordinarily I do not like to do extensive cooking, but so be it. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. It is 20* with a windchill of 11*F. I think it is supposed to get up to 34* later. I have not seen the sun in a long time and fear it has thrown the Earth out of the rotation and we have become a rogue planet hurtling through space at two hundred thousand miles an hour. It felt cold this morning. Fortunately I dressed for it. I am thinking of going to Church this morning. Game time decision. If I do, I shall most likely go to the store. Have a reasonable day in this ice box. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
I adore buying books or checking them out from a library. It's all about having the actual volume in my hands, especially banned books. I cherish my freedom to read. 📙
Good morning. Happy Black Friday week to those who are alive. I have put the bike away as the temps will drop into the teens and we are getting the wintry mix. I used to wait for the snow and ice to retire the bike but I am getting soft. It is still 40* as of this typing however, this is it. Will not warm for the next 20 years. The walk was good this morning. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
I give you 19 years old, with Hoagy Carmichael on the keyboard. Memories of things that were.
Good morning. And......... happy Thanksgiving week if you live in the thirteen colonies of the New World. I felt myself coming down with a cold or something this morning and had to use an electric cattle prod to get myself out the door for my exercise. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good Morning! We are babysitting! So even though it is Caturday, we have no cats.
We would like to introduce Payton. He is an awesome Service dog and we are so Blessed to be keeping him. Thank you Bill Connel for trusting us with your dog!
This is him with our biggest dog, Carly. Thank goodness we have big beds as well as little beds.
He lays anywhere he wants to because he does take up a big area when he is stretched out.
Here he is in the yard with Carly and Reba. I think he has a ball and they are checking him out as well as what he has.
When I sent this picture to Kelly, she said, "When your babysitter doesn’t have a big enough bed for you."
So from J Lo, Reba, Carly, Rbt and I, thank you for the honor of getting to enjoy your Beautiful Service Dog for a couple of days. He is a Blessing to you and now to us too!
Ismét eljött péntek késő délutánja-legalábbis nálunk- ,már besötétedett. Jó pihenést estére, valamint kellemes időtöltést kívánok a hétvége napjaira. Ölelésem, Éva
Reggelre leesett az első hó. Csodás látvány volt. A kertünkről hoztam egy fotókból összeállított képet.
Amikor először esik a hó, az olyan szép. Még ha azonnal elolvad is.
És ilyenkor mindig gondolni kell valakire. Muszáj gondolni valakire!
Hello. 40* on the walk this morning. No slippery spots, so a pleasant walk if not for the wind. There will be no sun today as I suspect something happened to the sun. Maybe it was hurled out of the solar system by some mysterious happening. Going for a high of 42*. I did make an unexpected cameo at Walmart yesterday.... in the afternoon. I wanted to see how the other people lived and exceeded expectations. Nothing planned for today. I am mulling going to church but that will be a game time decision in 2 hours, give or take 37 seconds. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
