It is a raw, sleety Tuesday for me. Went to Lowe's and Walmart this morning and vowed to not leave the house again today. After we had those warm days, I don't think any of us were ready for winter to show itself again. Oh well....it IS only February. Yesterday we had a good trip to and from Greensboro where we met with staff at the assisted living facility where Dave's mom and stepdad are living. With both having dementia, we weren't really surprised to learn they need increased care. We visited briefly with Mom and Bob and then went to eat an early supper with Dave's stepsister and her hubby. How is your day and what are you up to?
HELLO MY DEAR FRIENDS, HOPE THIS FINDS YOU DOING GOOD. WE HAVE HAD A HARD MONTH WITH SNOW, SLEET, FREEZING RAIN, LOTS OF ICE AND POWER OUTAGES. I SURE HOPE YOUR WEATHER HAS BEEN BETTER THAN MINE. LOL LOL GOD BLESS. HAVE A GOOD WEEK. HUGS, SHIRLEY

After a beautiful day of working in our backyard, John and I thought it would be wonderful to celebrate Valentine's Day by cooking our meal in our fabulous kitchen. One year ago our kitchen remodel was finished. We toasted to our life together and had a wonderful beef fajita dinner that we prepared together. After our wonderful meal, we watched the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" and had Turtle Chocolates for dessert! What a fabulous way to celebrate Valentine's Day!
It's a drizzly Tuesday here and supposed to get to the low 60s later. The birds don't mind the rain; they are flocking to the feeders in droves and are such fun to watch. I need to do a couple things around the house today and then plan to crochet. May run to Tractor Supply to get a thornless raspberry bush to add to our "orchard" area. Enjoy your day, rain or shine!
