Morning Jan, thank you so much for putting me on your prayer list, it really does mean so much to me!! Hubby just got done mowing the lawn and now he is getting ready for work, he sure is a good husband. I'm glad that your back if finally on the mend and that you'll be able to get out & about again. We finally had a bit of rain, although it didn't amount to much. The heat index yesterday was 110, Chris and I enjoyed some time in the pool, but it was even too hot to swim..lol..( Chris swim's) I float!!

Yesterday was an eventful day. I went to the doctors first. My blood pressure was good again at 120/78. It was 118/78 last time. My sugar was good as well as my cholesterol. I don't have to go back until late October.  After the doctors visit, I reserved a car at Enterprise for the upcoming weekend. I'll be going to my daughter Jennie's Luau in Dublin, Ohio.  That is about 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. from here. I just might continue on North after the party on Saturday, to visit my sister Dolores in Cleveland. I don't have to return the car until Monday morning.  I'll see how tired I am and decide at that point.Went food shopping at WalMart after that. I made sure I had my large cooler with me this time. I put all the frozen food in the cooler so nothing will start to thaw out on the 32 mile trip home. I barely got all the frozen food in the cooler. I bought more than I thought. It was a tight squeeze, but everything fit. I was soaking wet by the time I returned back at my apartment.  I stayed in all day due to the high heat and humidity. My power went off three short times. I must get me one of those back-up battery power supplies for instances like this. I pray you are well. Thanks for your friendship.

Hi Jan, the weather is great just like your report low eighties and less humidity. What a relief, glad to hear that your back pain is decreasing. Afternoon Jan! Went to my orthopedic surgeon today. I posted a bullentin. It'a a beautiful day, took my mom to the store and now i'm home to stay, i did alot more walking then i normally do so my knees are sore. I'm so very glad that your on the mend!! I've had to have bed rest with my back as well, there's only so much TV and book reading one can do. You'll be back to your sweet self in no time. Just two more days left of VBS. Had many more children than we expected after having so few at the Sat. registration. So far things are going well. I think the teachers are getting frazzled as they need more help with the small ones. Have a great day.
