The 45 yr old hair dryer
Posted On: 07/20/2024 11:40:40

This morning when I washed my hair, I looked at this old blow-dryer: 1875 Watts.   I had no idea if this was 'standard', but when I looked around just now--it seems to be. But maybe back then it was extra strong. My husband bought this Revlon hair dryer in the early 80's or maybe even in the 70's--for work. He was a technician & sometimes needed this when working.

Now, he retired in 1983. And eventually, when my 'then' blow dryer quit, I grabbed this one--and have been using it ever since.  It's still going strong--so I'll keep using it till it quits.  Somehow, I doubt current blow-dryers would last this long!

That is a good hair dryer to keep forever.

It seems most things are not built to last like in the past. Pretty nice your hairdryer from years ago is still working.
