Happy Friday. Starting at 34* F this morning heading to 43* F. I had a good walk though walking south seemed cold despite it being 32*. I am waiting for the cold. Saturday night the temps fall and we will be lucky to see zero before Wednesday. I am going to Walmart this morning I believe. I could wait for tomorrow. Game time decision. If I go to church, then it is on to Walmart. I did converse with a neighbor of mine for medicinal purposes. I felt one should talk to a real human once in a while. Have a good day. Good morning. Starting off at 32* going to 35* later. There is snow covering. A light covering. Looked like it could be slippery but it was not, but one had to proceed as if it was or one could suffer tragedy. I got off to a late start, almost 5. For some reason I got a good night's sleep. The bad thing about it is too much traffic. The good thing is I dared fate and went over to the path of the bear. Even though it was still dark, I trusted the bear would be heading home for the day. The exercise was a success and I even got some extra credit since it is so late anyway. I pondered going to church today but the car is in the garage. Maybe tomorrow. Good morning. It is 0*F heading to 23*F. It is going to warm up for a couple of days. The last two days I have been in sequestration with the exception of a walk around the block yesterday. I thought it was not that cold but then walking north changed my mind. I ran into a neighbor who has two dogs. He takes them to the little park every day. Hello. It is 1* heading for 10* later. Tomorrow around 11 AM it will start to warm for a few days before we get back to the zero temps. So it is winter on top of the Earth. First time in my personal history a light bulb has burned out in my refrigerator......... thus the conspiracy theory rears its ugly head about the light staying on in the refrigerator when the door is closed. However, I am prepared when rested enough to rectify this.

Happy Sunday. On the walk this morning it was 30°, but walking into the wind felt colder but tolerable. Tonight it goes down to 2°. Maybe I will take a ride over to Walmart later. I usually go at 6 but since I have to brush the car off, maybe I will wait for daylight........... or not go at all. Outside of that, I got nothing for you. Stay warm. Good morning. Starting off at 21*, heading to a balmy 29* later. I had to use an electric cattle prod to get myself out of the house this morning for exercise. Looked cold and there was some snow on the sidewalks and roads. Just a dusting. Not slippery. Took me an extra hour to get going. Nothing else for today except church later. Have a good day. Happy Friday. It was 24* on the walk this morning at 3 AM. That is twice as warm as yesterday, unless of course you are judging it by absolute zero. Heading for a balmy 31* later today. Bring out the beach blankets. It was a pleasant walk this morning compared to yesterday. There was a little wind. There was an insinuation of snow on some of the streets and evidence on the edge of car windows. You know what I mean. Snow granules in the cracks of the streets and curbs. Not everywhere though. It was hardly noticeable unless you were looking for something to pass the time. Usually I count the stars in this quadrant of the galaxy. I hung out some clothes yesterday and they froze on the line. I knew it was below freezing but the sun.......... I have nothing planned for today though church is uncertain. Game time decision. Good morning. Went out on the walk this morning and was greeted by 12* which is warmer than it has been in the morning. It still felt cold and got colder as the inches passed. Not much wind though. Officially it says 2*. There is a dampness which seems to be in the background of how it feels. I am expecting it to go to 29* later. These nice temps will only last until Monday when winter returns. I completed my destiny yesterday and so for the foreseeable future everything in the world is good. Nothing planned for today. I did have a horrible experience at the bank yesterday with someone who did not understand technology but I did do two stores without mental destruction. I go now into the day. Merry Christmas if you are Orthodox. I am on the last day of the countdown to the dental appointment. Pressure is mounting. There was a time in the distant past I would cancel the appointment 2 or 3 times before actually going to it. The enforcer on the phone would yell at me and call me names, but I was tough and would ignore the profanities. Eventually I would go and Elsa would take the sharp object and stab me in the gum on the pretext of getting under the gum for cleaning. However, I think we all know how those people are. And of course I have come down with the usual maladies before going to the appointment. Miraculously I shall recover nicely when leaving the dental office. The French are celebrating, that is not the word, attending the ceremony of the attack 10 years ago. Charlie Hebdo. My French is not good so I will not give the speech. Good morning. The countdown continues for the dreaded dental appointment. Usually twice a year I go through this purgatory. I used to have it scheduled during Lent to kill two birds with one stone, if you will. It is 11* heading to 23*. It is going to be the only warm day until Thursday. I have been fighting the good fight against a cold, or something. Would not have been bothered if not for the upcoming appointment. I have not opened the door to the fortress since Saturday evening, remaining in total seclusion. I will have to break that seal later to throw out the water and maybe an abbreviated walk. Good morning. It is 13°F and it feels cold out. There is a slight wind which makes it seem colder, or at least feels that way. Heading to 17°F later today. Every step of my walk this morning was a trial and tribulation. I felt like turning around and returning to my fortress after every step. I thought about doing only 1 mile but decided to continue. Then of course I thought about cutting it off after 2 miles. Then I decided on a flat 3 miles and that would be good enough. But then guilt entered and I had to persevere. This was the worst time as I had to walk west where the wind was coming from. I am giving thought to not going for the exercise tomorrow as the temperature will be down to 3° F. I think the determining factor will be the wind. When it gets to double digits, it makes it seem cold. In either case, I am in seclusion. I have no agenda for the rest of the day. I did go through some trauma yesterday in getting gas. For some reason the gas pump would not cooperate and I had to summon an attendant. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. It is 18° F and headed for 25° later. It actually felt cold out this morning but not at the beginning of the walk. I think the cold eventually wore away at my clothing and penetrated the clothing to make it seem as if it was colder than it was. I still feel chilled even though I've been in the fortress for a 1/2 hour. We now have our two major holidays out of the way and the next big event is January 8. A dental appointment. I have nothing planned for today. Maybe church in about 3 hours. Game time decision. Have you ever noticed after you have put a banana in the refrigerator or somehow got it cold, how long it stays cold?
