I haven't been to a movie theatre since...well don't know the year but I know the movie we saw, Platoon...long time ago! :)

Any movies I might list are old ones.
I do like anything with Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Julia Roberts, Denzil Washington, Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks, Henry Fonda, Jack Lemon, etc.
I suppose the newest movie I have seen would be...can't recall the name but it was Jane Fonda and oh me...she's a singer too, can't think right now...something about a mother-in-law??

As I already said...LOVE MUSIC!

Most of my books are Christian, spiritual, and teaching type books and devotionals. If I purchase any others they are non-fiction or biographies, auto-biographies. I have never liked fiction/novels. Even when I was younger and in school. Guess I could go back and put that in my
"what I don't like" box!

Right now I am reading In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart by Ruth Graham, Becoming a Contagious Christian, not sure of author without getting up and looking LOL and a teaching book titled Biblical Mathematics.

Well...done told ya I like to eat! LOL
I go thru phases of what my favorites are...to the point I usually burn myself out for awhile on that particular food/dessert.

I can always eat my mom's chicken/dressing or her chicken/dumplins, always! Even if I have just ate! LOL

Right now I'm hung up on Arbys! LOL
I love seafood with the exception of oysters.
I love ice cream, so did my husband.
I like Mexican, Italian, Greek, almost anything.
Actually though for just everyday eating I'd rather just have good ole down home cookin, ya know like white beans/cornbread/mashed potatoes/pork chops/macaroni&cheese/cooked cabbage and in the summertime there's nothing better than fresh corn, fresh yellow squash and tomatoes!! Except right now there's a consumer alert out on tomatoes. But that's OK, I know a host of people who have gardens!
Oh...and I love a good grilled steak, salad, baked beans and salad! My husband could grill the best steaks in the whole wide world. He also smoked a lot of meat. He liked to cook.

When it comes to dessert...well...just put it in front of me, give me a spoon or fork and leave me alone! LOL Except coconut...hate getting coconut in my teeth! LOLOL

Oh gosh...not a lot to tell I don't think.
I guess I've already said most of it.

I am a widow. Jeff & I would have been married 30 years 6/03 but he passed in 2/03. I really, really struggled thru my grief process but God has helped me each day and healing has began and the wound is not gaping any longer.
We never had children. He was an underground coal miner for most of those 30 years. I worked in the finanical business for many years and then the last ten years I worked I was a doctor's assistant. I have not worked since 8/99 due to health issues.

I have 4 siblings and they all have children except my one brother. He hasn't been married but about 3 years. I am the oldest. He is the youngest. I have 5 nieces and nephews who I love bunches! One nephew is getting married this Saturay, the 14th of June. He is still in college, he is a music major and I just pray that he finishes. If Aunt Cindy could have had her way this marriage would have waited! LOLOL

On Jeff's side of the family I have 6 nieces & nephews, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
I don't see them very much and that is way too much to go into and too personal and painful right now.

Both families, we all live within 35 miles of each other except my brother, he is 3 1/2 hours away.

I was born again in 8/80. I attend a General Baptist Church. I am superintendent of our Sunday School Dept. I lead/teach a woman's study group.
I have just began a woman's ministry under the authority of my church, HOPEChest Ministries--Hearts Of Perfect Establishment. I have a vision of it going beyond the church walls to women of the whole community/county. I also have a vision of writing a book before I die...don't know if that will come to pass or not.

I do sing at church quite often and I also sing other places on invitation.

Oh my goodness, I like everything!

I enjoy life to the fullest degree which my health will allow me to enjoy each day!

I have a passion for the study of God's Word.
I enjoy teaching/ministering to others, have a real heart for other women, their needs and concerns. I write devotionals from time to time.

I love music, many genres, my favorite though is Southern Gospel, Praise & Worship...but from there I like lots of music...except mayb the rap, hip-hop or some of that head-banging stuff! LOL
I was once young but uh...now I'm not! LOL I also minister in song.

I like the springtime of the year and summer.
I like to shop, go to flea markets and to antique stores, when I have time...I am really active in my church and in ministry.

I love my family and my church family and my friends.

I like to eat, especially desserts! LOL

I like to read. I love my computer!

I don't like housework or any kind! LOL I'm not very domestic, never have been...just do things cause somebody has to do it!

I don't particularly care for the winter months, they are necessary and they are gonna come whether I like them or not! :)

I don't like living alone...but I am getting adjusted to it, I have no choice in that matter.

I don't like liars or back-biters, or sowers of discord, or haughtiness, arrogance. I love people that seem to be that way, I love them with the love of the Lord and would never mistreat anyone; but I just try to not get too close, know what I mean? I don't like strife & contention.

I don't like green peas or black-eyed peas! Can tell ya sometime a funny story about me and green peas! LOL

I don't like the direction in which my country, these United States is going and has been going for sometime now.

I have mentioned a few of them already I suppose in the first section:

Reading, writing, Bible study, singing, music, antiquing, shopping. I enjoy picnics. I enjoy going to Gospel singings.

I honestly don't have any crafty type hobbies and I have NO green thumb on either hand! LOL

I enjoy watching NASCAR races, college basketball, and figure skating. I don't watch a lot of TV but I do like Dancin with the Stars and Nashville Star.
