We have been married 56 years. We live in the same town we were both born in and though we have tried moving away, we always came back. We lost our only son in April of 2012. We do have our daughters living close by.
My husband and I have many hobbies. We were very thankful for this when we retired. After all of the years of working, it would have got very boring without our hobbies.
WHAT I LIKE
Yes, I love Angels.. This song by Alan Jackson reminds me of ones that has been taken way too soon from our loving arms. "When we love with all we have, We grieve for all we are." ~~Author Unknown~~
I like ones that when they come on my page as a friend, that they do want to communicate. I do not mean they have to send comments but please do send a message to me every once in a while, so I will know you are living. Just know, I love people in general and friendships are serious to me. I love people that have a sense of humor like I do. (I like honesty, truthfulness and no pretending.)
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
I do not tolerate gossip well at all. I am on here for fun and friendships. I am very staunch in my Political belief but I do not discuss it on these sites. I can laugh however at any Democrat or Republican joke, and would not be offended.(oh, if it was nasty, I WOULD be offended.)
HOBBIES
Collecting,Ebay,and computer work. Stamp collecting, political pins, and what a mess I have. Guitars is another fettish...and do they take a lot of room!!!(I sell 1 guitar and buy 2 more.)I play for my own relaxation and love each and every one of them.
