I worked with a mounted (horse) unit for a police department for almost 21 years. I was the stable manager taking care of twelve horses. I also worked for some friends that had a farm raising Quarter horses. I trained the babies. I do like the veterinary part of horses and should have gone to school when I was younger, but didn't. Sure did get to learn alot of things being around horses all my life. Also did get to travel with the department to Mardi Gras and to different events all over the eastern US. I grew up in Long Island, New York and moved to South Carolina in 1973. In the 1960's I worked with some people that owned an eight horse hitch of Clydesdales, showing around upstate NY and in Conn., at the Danbury fair. I have one daughter, she will be 40 on June 1st. No grandchildren.
