Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. Starting the day at 30°, heading to 42°. It looks like the wind has subsided. We move one day closer to Christmas. On Christmas Eve, when I go to church, I am usually pushed out to the outer doors of the veranda. It seems like everyone goes to church on Christmas who never goes the whole year. I am not a fan of crowds but it really doesn't inconvenience me to be in the vestibule as I frequently spend time at church there. Not so much right now. But when I go on the weekend, I usually spend it in the MOTHER'S ROOM. Naturally I try to get to the grocery store and other places before the last two days before Christmas to avoid the crowds. I'm undecided on what I shall prepare on Christmas for dinner. It can't be a game time decision if I have to get something special at the store. I am leaning towards ham as it does not have to be prepared. I use to attend the Radisson Hotel for brunch. They have an excellent brunch. As a matter of fact, I used to go there every week for brunch. Then they discontinued the weekly brunch and only have it on special occasions like Mother's Day and Easter. So now I do not go at all. I shall remain in sequestration as I live vicariously through the people on the web. Usually there's a capacity crowd of people who can converse online. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hope you have a most restful Sunday as we prepare for this final week before Christmas. It is a rainy, cool day for me and I see an afternoon of football and a possible nap in the cards. Whatever you may be doing, enjoy the day.
Many hugs~

my sister used to put so much tinsel on our tree when we were young, you could barely see the ornaments. Maybe 2 or 3 boxes. It did look pretty with the lights on the tree though. Fun memories for sure 🙂 Hope you have a nice wednesday.
This time of year I cherish wonderful memories of past Christmases. I was lucky to have parents, now gone, who gave me sweet childhood holidays; I, in return, made sure they spent every Christmas with their grandson. Extra hugs to those of us who have a cry now & again missing those "days of yore."❄️
Taco Tuesday! Even Santa and the Reindeer like tacos. They are getting excited about their trip and then a vacation.
Do you put snow tires on and off all winter or do you leave them on? So glad we don't get that much snow.
I bet Santa is glad he flies above all the traffic. In DFW every morning there is FREE parking around the metroplex.
So if you are out and about this week please remember what this season is all about... sharing the love that Jesus has for every person and creature that He created.
Good morning. 15* heading for 37*. Balmy compared to yesterday. The wind yesterday, horrendous. I went to CITY HALL to pay the taxes and the wind cut to my very soul. I had my head out the door this morning and it felt like an ice box. I miss the walk in the middle of the night but I am done with that. Once I get this splint off, I shall be doing the walk during the day. I do not like it but I do not like eating concrete either. Nothing planned for today. Maybe church but game time decision. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet! For my biographers, I have 2 of the 3 new calendars hanging up. #2024
Very windy over here..we got 1/2' of rain yesterday. Neighbor two doors down had a tree fall in back yard...landing on an old storage building..it was so loud. Oir weather continues to be sporadic. Dixie will be wearing her sweater tomorrow 🧑🎄🐾
Hi there. Just now getting around to getting on the Hill to leave comments. Its been a busy day. I went and got groceries this morning, then ran errands this afternoon. Didn't get a nap in today, but that is okay. Got my last load of laundry in the dryer. We have a chance of more rain coming this weekend. Thankfully it won't turn to ice or snow. We are traveling Friday to go see our middle daughter and her husband. So we want the weather to be nice. I hope you are having a good day my friend. Take care and hugs to you. Cheryl
