Why is Friday such a special day? Thursday is now Friday Eve! I like every day of the week. Each day has its own uniqueness!
The entire month of December is unique. There is shopping, decorating, wrapping, etc. every day is fun and special. I love giving all year long.
Jesus and His love is all year long after all. I love seeing the joy and surprise of an unexpected gift every month.
Is there something special under your Christmas tree already? I love the look of wonder on children's faces.
I am not a very good decorator though. I usually end up with a mess to clean up in every room. Christmas is a time for peppermint, cookies, candy, cakes and all deserts! Not for the pets but for husbands... oh that is every month too!
Middle of the week and we will be going to an early evening dinner tonight. I am getting excited now.
It is nice to get together for Christmas with others you don't see often during the year.
I love seeing the trees decorated all around town and the trees in people's windows in the evenings.
Do your animals get in trouble at Christmas? Are they on the naughty list or are they perfect like mine... not. I hope you and your family and pets have a very Blessed Wednesday. Sending you hugs too!
Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime. ~Laura Ingalls Wilder (1867–1957)
Sunday is upon us again and that means the weekend is half over already. Where did the first 1/3 of December go?
One day after we did the yard, the WIND blew most of the remaining leaves off the trees. Soon there will not be a leaf left and we still have 2 months of winter to come.
What a great month this is to celebrate though. A month to see excitement as children's eyes light up and also to celebrate Jesus' birthday.
Share the blessings of this month and Christmas every day with those you meet and remember to visit those that are lonely. Most of all, share your Love!
Happy Saturday, friend. Are you finishing up a Christmas chore today? Maybe shopping or addressing cards accompanied by Christmas music... perfect! Tis the Season to be jolly:) 💗💚🎄💚💗
Saturday and I am having College Football Withdrawals! It will be about 4 weeks until my Texas Longhorns play. UGH!!!
Yesterday and today we had and will have warm temperatures but we also have 20+ mph winds on and off. Thank goodness they settle down at night.
I had a very busy week, especially for me. This time of year do you find people trying to be more kind or less kind? I try to take a deep breath and be more kind every day. Most days it works but some days it doesn't.
Some days things just don't go right, everything you do is a setback. So you just put on a smile. Somehow things get better and you laugh over the day you had.
So if you ever have a troubling day, look around and find something that makes you smile. I hope you have a great Caturday and Weekend being kind to everyone you encounter.
We made it to Friday again. In the blink of an eye Christmas will be over and it will be a brand new year. Today, I am sending you pictures of one of my favorite places that is beautiful all year round. We rode motorcycles down the coast of Oregon and around Crater Lake and back up to Portland.
Have you ever been there? It is a beautiful state to visit. Those are not my pictures as it was a long time ago. My pictures are somewhere on this computer though. Whatever you do, have fun and make great memories!
I am going to the Edward Jones Christmas dinner this evening. I am excited to see some of my favorite clients.
Yesterday we mowed (vacuumed) the yard and all the bags are now ready for pick up. We are supposed to be near 70 today but VERY windy. I am sure the yard will be full again.
The backyard cleans up nice. The poor plants are so confused with warm during the day and then mid 30's during the night. I think Saturday will be COLD north winds.
My orange climbing Rose bush that is over 20 years old is loving this weather. I hope you are enjoying your weather. I am sending you Blessings & Hugs!
