Good morning. It is Friday and more than that, is the day to change the pages on the calendars. I looked out the window and it is still dark but I could see it there is some snow on my sidewalk. Not a lot of snow but enough to go outside later and push a shovel around. I also previewed the weather and I'm excited to see it is -1°at 5:00 AM. This is a vest improvement over the last few days. I also see this weekend I shall be approaching 40°. Excitement is in the air. There's also supposed to be some rain. I forgot what that looks like. Before I start activating the motorcycle, I have noticed that the temperatures will be dropping back to a colder mode. It shall be reasonable for this time of year. Overnight temperatures will be 0 or a few degrees below that. During the day, it shall be in the teens. After the ice age I just experienced this will be an improvement. I mentioned yesterday that MOVIE DAY has been canceled for this week due to a lack of interest. The woman who sells tickets shall mark me down as an unexcused absence. So about the only thing on my agenda for today is pushing the shovel around. I actually thought about activating my motor vehicle but that shall wait until tomorrow. This weekend is the Super Bowl and life shall be changing for this weekend.

Good morning. Wind chill temperatures dropped to -66 degrees Fahrenheit in Minnesota Wednesday morning. At least 4 deaths have been linked to the cold. The U.S. Postal Service suspends service in parts of several states. Schools and universities are closed throughout the Midwest. But tomorrow is another day. It is warmer on Mars than in the Midwest. Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. Cold one this morning. Furnace has been running often. This bill will be next month as I have already scheduled this one. It is -27°; CLEAR; feels like -49°; H -13° / L -33°. This is cold but tonight will be the cold one. Ten states have suspended mail delivery. Needless to say, no agenda for today. And.......... if I have to throw the water out, I shall cast it out the back door since I do not need to visit the mail box.

Good morning. Chilly this morning. About -5. My odyssey with the cold starts today at noon and continues for two days. I don't ever remember a wind chill warning for that long but then again, may be a memory repressed. In either case, I shall go out for the mail and water disposal and that is about it. Good morning. The weekend is over and the weather is worse. We got 8 to 12 inches of snow. The interstate is about 10 miles from this writer. It seems to be a dividing line for weather as it comes through. This time there is more snow north of the interstate than in my backyard. I think most of the snow is finished but we will be getting a little bit more until around noon. Then comes the other side of the coin. We have windchill warning. By Tuesday the windchill could be as cold as -60°. The actual temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday are bad. It will be -25°. When it warms up on Tuesday the high will be -5°. And on Wednesday not quite as warm, -13° for a high temperature. Well I hope my complaining will be for more than medicinal purposes. Hopefully none of this will come to pass and it will turn into summer and I will activate my motorcycle. Needless to say I have no agenda for today except shoveling. Yesterday I decided to do some scanning. I got somewhat behind on scanning things over the years because I have not had my printer activated. I kept it in a separate room, out of sight, out of mind. The scanning alone took me over 2 hours. My scanning program for the computer which make things somewhat more reasonable does not work in either computer I have now. It really does not matter. I only lose one capability by not having the program. Every time Microsoft does something for me, it is no good. I was happy I found a way to stop them from giving me a major update. I still get the minor ones but they only take 10 seconds and they can do no harm to my personal programs.

Happy Sunday. A little bit warmer this morning, -6°. We have a forecast for a snowstorm tonight into tomorrow. About 6 to 10 inches of snow. And then it shall cool down and we shall have a couple of days of temperatures of -20°to-25°. And after that I am hoping for summer. I suppose I shall have to take it easy on the shoveling as my back is not as good as it once was. After completing my errands yesterday, I have placed my car back into the garage for possibly the week. With this forecast of cold and snow, I do not see myself activating my motor vehicle before February 1st. I shall spend today in my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE pondering the situation. What makes the situation boring is the fact that my neighbors are not out and about for me to spy on. I was hoping for some real good action across the street as for a couple of days some young woman was coming out of the house a married couple live in. I was thinking maybe the guy has been having an affair, but then taking under consideration that his wife is home, I am thinking, three people. Or possibly my neighbor has turned into a Mormon. Now it is beginning to look like just some relative or friend is staying there. Back to boredom. And the woman who lives next door to me is hardly home and I am suspecting illicit behavior on her part.

Good morning. Another cold one this morning. Approximately -12°. Windchill alerts between -20 and -30°. That would be cold if you had to work outside. However, no fear. It will get to zero by noon. Then will rise up to about 4°and by 6:00 PM back down to below zero. We can then do it all over again tonight. In the meantime I am hiding in my Fortress Of Solitude. There will be no movie today because of a lack of interest. Tomorrow I shall have to activate my motor vehicle. It is a mental pain getting out of the garage. I have church tomorrow or it could sit in the garage for another week. In the meantime I am impatiently waiting for spring. Some guy called me up and his granddaughter wants to look at the motorcycle I have been selling for years. I told him I'm not going out into the garage and dig out the motorcycle behind a bunch of staff. I am going to forward some pictures and videos to her so she can see it and decide if she wants to look at it in person in the spring. This has been the story for about eight years I have been selling the motorcycle. A lack of interest in doing anything to promote the sale of the motorcycle.

I was not going to participate this morning but changed my mind, and I do have one. It is GARBAGE DAY in the US. Some of us participates, others do not. The garbage receptacle in the distance is the neighbor's and she is usually away on trysts so I take care of it. One of my neighbor's receptacles who is not participating.

Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. It looks as if the big storm has missed my backyard. I was looking at the active radar and we are only getting clipped by the edge of the storm. That being said, the warning is until 9:00 AM my time this morning. It is somewhat warmer this morning, but Thursday and Friday night, -15°. And that is not windchill. That is the actual temperature. And then next week, it gets worse. I previewed the action and there is at least one night where it will be -20° F. I shall definitely have to leave my hot water in the shower dripping. If I get the ambition, I may take a constitutional around the neighborhood later, but that is in doubt.
