I am retired, live happily with my husband and two Rescue cats in a beautiful part of England (where we all potter about: my husband in the garden and me ... I just potter as I can't get around as much as I used to).
We have a daughter, three granddaughters, one great-grandson and a great-granddaughter. Sadly, our son died in November 2009.
I have never been able to sew, crochet or knit, but discovered by accident that I could make tapestries but had to stop when I ran out of walls to hang them on.
I enjoy writing, and have had a couple of short stories and some poems published in the small press and have won a prize! - so fingers crossed for the best seller. At my age I'll have to get a move on!
