Last movie I saw was Mamma Mia. I don't get much time to go to movies at the moment. I do like comedy best. Definately don't like thrillers.

I like music from the 60's & 70's and also country music. My favourite song is 'Kids of the Baby Boom' How true those words are. Not that we in Australia were well off when growing up, but the rest of the song is very appropriate.

Purple and mauve are my favourites, but I love any light colors.

I am vegetarian, so am very limited. I'm sure these trained Chefs have never learned a thing about vegetarian food. To eat out here is a nightmare, so I settle for any
good home cooked vegetarian food.
I love cakes and desserts and chocolate is just the best.

I live around 50 klms. from Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, on one and a quarter acres of land. Part of our land is lawn and garden and on the rest, we have left the gum trees for the birds, which we feed in the garden. We share our place with our little family of two Maltese/Poodle cross dogs and one Poodle. They run the show here.
I am enjoying retirement thoroughly. The first time in my life that I can do what I want to when I want to.

I like people who are up front. No beating around the bush.
I like telling it as it is and just
living life the way it is. No fantasy stuff, just take the good with the bad and get on with it.

Those who don't like animals.
Liars and those who try to be one better than everyone else.
Those individuals who thrive on having power over others,
Crowds and traffic jams.

Since it is so hard to get a vegetarian meal at a restaurant, I have to cook most of the food I eat, so luckily I don't mind cooking.
Working in the garden is my favourite pass time though.
I much prefer to be outdoors. If only the rain would not come so regularly, I would be happy. Our weather pattern has changed completely in the past couple of years, with much more rain than we have ever had.
