Have you ever colored eggs... fancy? How long has it been since you colored eggs at all? Me, forever! I can't even remember the last time.
This picture was from yesterday when we finished the main big bed in the center of the yard. We did 5 flower beds and used all 30 bags of mulch. Three of the beds had to be weeded or cleaned out before we could put mulch down. I will send a picture when all the cute things are put back in this bed. We did get the plastic taken off of the makeshift greenhouse and folder & put away for winter.
There is still so much more to be done. But it will be a little at a time now that the heavy lifting is done. My knees are SCREAMING and Hubby hurts all over. What a trouper he is and I am so blessed! Tornado Watch just issued and storms heading this way could have lime size hail.
Did you or have you ever done an Easter Egg Hunt? My DIL, Evelyn, did her first one Palm Sunday. There were different fields set up for different ages including adults. Wild and loud grown ups!
It wouldn't really be Easter without baby chicks now would it? We are getting ready for more storms. Today we are trying to get mulch put down in flower beds. 10 bags done and 10 more on the way. I'll let you know if we survive.

Still waiting for it to warm up enough to go outside. We started at 37° this morning. Yesterday the winds were 20 mph and tomorrow they are supposed to be 26 mph with gusts.
I sure hope your weekend is not as windy as ours. The grass has been so wet this morning that dogs feet have to be wiped or you get a wet lap!
Dog? What dog? I'm the Easter Bunny. I did see 3 bunnies in our front yard on the Wyze webcam this past week. And so begins all the Easter Egg Hunts. Have a fun weekend!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start. Like the squirrel above, I am doing laundry today. Oldest daughter, Lindy, came by to visit this morning and that was fun. We sent her home with some things...we call it "shopping at Mom's and Dad's". HAHA She brought us a bunch of empty egg cartons for the eggs our hens are once again laying. So my day has been complete already and I'm ready to see what else I can get in to. Be safe and have fun today! Many prayers for you, George, as you go through your treatments.
Every day can be a good day when you keep a positive attitude. A positive attitude helps you see the good in everything. With this attitude, you attract good things into your life.
I have found that if you love life, life will love you back
Do you know how good it feels to be home today? I have at least 3 big loads of laundry to get done. I am sure I have a list a mile long.
It is a chilly morning, only 60's for highs and so I probably won't go outside until late in the day. Perfect day to read a book. Besides, the weekend will be in the 80's.
You are invited to come on over! Even stay for the weekend. I promised there won't be a lot of work going on here (and I know you believe me). Ok... toilets need scrubbing, many bags of mulch need spreading and just a couple of other things on my list like reading a book.
