I sure hope you are having a satisfying Saturday! The sun is trying to shine off and on here...after yesterday's cold rain, the sunshine is a gift! Dave is going to till the garden and let it rest until time to plant in April. I did my household chores this morning and, this afternoon, our middle daughter and oldest grandson stopped by for a visit. Any day I see sunshine, one of my kids, and one of my grands is a GREAT day so I'm really feeling happy! What's happening at your house? Just enjoy the day, no matter what!
Welcome February...The school year seems to go by quicker after January..my sister (63) will probably work a few more years (school cafeteria)..even though she has a full time job at home raising grandkids. Our older brother (widower) lives there as well. She is a saint...We will reach the 70's next week. 48 days till Spring-:)
Well hello February ! Starting off here a beautiful warm day so going to cook out today or tomorrow. The wife is serious about retiring at the end of this school semester & doing volunteer work or a school lunch monitor to have something to do. Been trying to get her to do it for awhile and take it easy. Have a good weekend and start to a new month.......George
each day gives us a new opportunitv to start over and achieve what we propose, happy and prosperous wednesday, with blessings, and health, and friendship, kisses, maria
Happiest hump day to you. It is a beautiful, chilly day for me. Plenty of sunshine. Been doing some household chores in hopes part of my afternoon is free for doing what I choose rather than what I MUST. Work first, play later, right? How is your day going? I hope it's a good one for you!
Though I hope we get at least one good snowfall this winter, I find it hard to complain about today's sunny, cool weather, George. The sun shining makes all the difference in the world!
It feels like I've been gone from The Hill forever. The only update I have to give about my dad is that he got his heart monitor yesterday and will wear it for 30 days. He seems to be feeling better and doing well. Part of that is just getting home and sleeping in his own bed, I'm sure. He has two black eyes from his fall last week but he says it looks worse than it feels. Your good thoughts and prayers have been much appreciated. Thank you so much.
Yesterday we went to lunch with middle daughter, Melanie, and then to our favorite garden shop after. Melanie has Mondays off work so we went into Main St. and had a nice visit and delicious lunch. Today's tuna sandwich at home is going to pale in comparison. LOL
