Good morning on this Sunday morning. About 50°this morning. Later today I have to go to some social function about 25 miles from here. Not exactly my cup of tea. It is good to see some people, however, I do not like to interact with groups of people. I suppose one has to go to one of the social functions once every 10 years or so. I usually do not know most of the people so therefore I play the part of a wallflower. In either case, that is still hours away. And to further complicate my situation, Tuesday is the day I return to the eye doctor. I shall hope for the best. So the long and the short of it is that my week is ruined. Have a good day. Good day to you. We have had only light scattered showers in our area but close by has had some strong storms. Hope your week has been fine & you're able to enjoy the weekend. Good morning. Movie Day is canceled due to a lack of interest. No selections are being shown that interest this writer. It is the last day of the month and people are concerned about changing the pages of their calendars. Pressure is mounting as I have three calendars to change the pages on. I think the forecast for rain has been moved to this evening. Uncertainty, but it should not affect this writer one way or the other. I believe it is going to be somewhat warm today. Maybe even into the high eighties. I have resisted using the new air conditioner because that would be a surrender to the heat and humidity. Yesterday was pushing the envelope but I was able to persevere.

Good morning. A fairly warm morning, about 60°. I actually got something done yesterday. I went out in the morning for a constitutional and it began to drizzle and it looked like I was not going to be able to have a good outing. But then the drizzle stopped and I was able to complete a couple of miles. I went into my FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE and remained for several hours. I then looked out the window and saw the sun. I got the bright idea to mow the lawn. Everything went fairly well although I was somewhat overdressed. After completion, I decided to get all of my courage and attempt to take a motorcycle for a ride. It is the first time since my war with vertigo. When I was suffering from the vertigo I thought I would never be able to ride again. So now I'm encouraged that it is completely gone. Today is supposed to be about 80°. I am uncertain of my agenda. I may go to church at approximately 7:30 AM. I usually end up forgetting about it and then it gets too late. I actually like it because there is hardly anyone in attendance. By the way, GARBAGE DAY is postponed due to the holiday earlier this week.
