Happy Saturday. I think I will go over to Walmart early for some Christmas cards. Someone sent me one the other day notifying me of the season. We all know how people think of people sending last year's cards again this year. At one time I tried to regift the cards but people would use ink! I have sequestered myself since the incident and will go early to avoid people cursing and calling me names because of the effects of the incident. I am getting better but I don't want to push the envelope. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Saturday and I am having College Football Withdrawals! It will be about 4 weeks until my Texas Longhorns play. UGH!!!
Yesterday and today we had and will have warm temperatures but we also have 20+ mph winds on and off. Thank goodness they settle down at night.
I had a very busy week, especially for me. This time of year do you find people trying to be more kind or less kind? I try to take a deep breath and be more kind every day. Most days it works but some days it doesn't.
Some days things just don't go right, everything you do is a setback. So you just put on a smile. Somehow things get better and you laugh over the day you had.
So if you ever have a troubling day, look around and find something that makes you smile. I hope you have a great Caturday and Weekend being kind to everyone you encounter.
It was a quiet day here but busy. Dylan wasn't here this morning and didn't have to go to dad's so I had the day to myself! caught up on some housework and odds and ends. Even watched a Christmas too! Now I am settled in for the evening and have another movie on.
Looks like some rain is moving in for the weekend.
We made it to Friday again. In the blink of an eye Christmas will be over and it will be a brand new year. Today, I am sending you pictures of one of my favorite places that is beautiful all year round. We rode motorcycles down the coast of Oregon and around Crater Lake and back up to Portland.
Have you ever been there? It is a beautiful state to visit. Those are not my pictures as it was a long time ago. My pictures are somewhere on this computer though. Whatever you do, have fun and make great memories!
Baked sausage balls today..2 pounds worth. I hope to bake some chocolate chip (keto, of course) cookies this weekend, as well as fudge. Don't have a separate freezer, but we plan on buying one in a few months. Having to move some things out of kitchen beforehand to make room for one. We also plan on having a 16 x 20 building constructed early next year in back yard..greatly needed for housing hub's motorcycles and a general workshop for him. Slowly but surely it will all happen as we have planned. Was a busy Thursday..had chiropractor appt, then a few errands. Nothing planned for Friday. Enjoy the weekend 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Just stopping by to say hello Darci...I've still been dealing with my MIL...Went to see her today because she called me last night saying someone was stealing from her and took her new blouses I bought her...They were in her closet with the tags still on them..She swears I brought her more and those are gone..Shes been a trip lol...The buliding outside that is white they move it at night and bring it back by morning.....The question to her is where do they take it and how do they move an entire building...her answer...I dont know but they do..lol..and there is a little girl that has people coming to her all day ..they hand her things from their car and leave then someone else comes..once in a while her brother comes out to make sure she is ok..Come to find out...she see's Arbys from her window..the drive thru ..how she can see the people is beyond me...lol..and you cant reason with her so trying to live in her world can be exhausting...I have learned to change the subject as often as I can. We still haven't sold her house so hopefully that will go soon....Anyways...I just wanted to say hi and let you know I have not forgotten you and your kindness...Keep smiling and have a good night..hugs
Good afternoon. Its a nice 76* here. Feels like another Fall day here. Tomorrow it will be back to normal. Only in the 50's. Seems like it should be late September not December. Not much going on here. Got my laundry in the dryer and I have dishes to do but I wanted to get my comments out before I did them.
