Good afternoon! It is an unbe-leaf-ably gorgeous day here. Sunny, nice breeze, and to be low 80s. I've got laundry hung out and know it will dry well and smell so good! What is happening with you today? Is your weather worthy of some outdoor time?
What a fabulous Thursday we are having! 80-90% coverage of RAIN!
The total rain is supposed to only be 1/2" to 1" so it should be a nice gentle rain all day.
The temperatures are cooler but 50' to 60's which means we shouldn't be freezing the rest of this week.
The flowers and plants are getting a drink and not covered up. So glad we got to run errands on Tuesday and got our grocery pickup run (1 hour one way) on Wednesday.
I hope you rest and enjoy your day with Blessings and Hugs from this FateGrandma!
For a while, it looked like the end of the world this morning. Last egg this morning. Then out of the Southern end of the street came the miracle of a neighborhood banning together to give relief to the downtrodden. I shall now be alright........... for this crisis.
Let it snow, Let it snow! Such a treat this morning seeing some snow on the ground. Puts a smile on my face. Look what came to the feeder also this morning, giving me such joy.
The rest of the story though is that it has been raining and snowing so it is very slippery outside today. A good day to make up some home made soup and stay in doors. My goodness one must have those cute oyster crackers to go along with the soup. Gee I sure know how to spoil myself. hahaha . May you have a lovely day enjoying your moments and I will do the same here in this neck of the woods.
Good morning. 38* colonial temp and felt pleasant. Crescent moon with some star next to it. #Frightening. I walked toward it to get a better look but eyesight is not what it once was and could not see if it was a UFO or some planet with people leaving their lights on. Nothing planned for today although there are rumors of my refrigerator having only one egg in it. Do you ever get the feeling that some of these adorations such as FEATURED MEMBERS are fixed for the upper class and the GREAT UNWASHED have no chance? Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
I have one remaining relative on my mother's side of the family, still living, and I had lost contact with him, BUT, got ahold of my cousin, in Texas, who happened to have his son's, and daughter's, phone numbers. He's still with us, at 92, to be 93 on March 9th, coming. He says he'll be around till he's 100, and I don't doubt that, at all. He made Senior Master Chief of the Navy, before he retired, after 33 years...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a TRANSFORMINGLY THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a TANTILLIZING WEEK, my friend...
Have been to two grocery stores since Saturday, but I think I a, stocked up on most of what I need. Made some keto fat bombs a few days ago. This weekend I'm going to try a new keto bread recipe..also chocolate chip cookies (keto) It's been a busy week, but looking forward to slowing down. I need to get a few things at Aldi too soon. π
Hi there. I hope you are having a good day. Its much cooler here today. Only 69* with a breeze. it was cloudy this morning, but the clouds are now gone and the sun is shining. Going to make a hamburger pizza for our meal tonight. Doesn't that sound good? I think it does. Well enjoy the rest of your day and take care. Hugs, Cheryl
Hi there Darci! Just sitting around reminiscing & organzing pics. Taking them out of crumbling photo albums & putting them in a plastic organizing case. Have a good Wednesday!π¦
Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. 40* this morning on the street. I managed to get my walk in this morning even though it was like pulling teeth to get out the door. I had no ambition to start the day but I succeeded. I am planning a trip over to Walmart in approximately 1.5 hours, give or take 13 seconds. A semi emergency. If I do not get there, the world shall not end. As I walked down the street this morning, I noticed quite a few Christmas decorations being up, or partially completed. One might think it is early for that. However I noticed quite a few residents of the site have already started decorating their pages. Some of these decorations are brutal. Some are celebrating winter. What's wrong with these people! The only thing I can think of is that they live south of the Mason Dixon Line and don't know what winter really is like. Too many Bing Crosby movies on TV. I leave you now with the thought that we most likely will survive another day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
