I know that by now, your tree is up and decorated and there are probably presents wrapped under it... that is if you are putting a tree up this year.
This is a beautiful tree but there isn't much room under it for presents.
But Christmas is about so much more than presents. We celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus and give thanks for His sacrifice to forgive us for our sins.
Remember this Thursday to share His light, joy, love, peace, humility, kindness, and generosity with others when you look at the star on the top of the tree.
Greetings. One day closer to the big day, a dental appointment in May. Tomorrow, for the people on the site who are on top of the world, more light. Ciao
Good morning. It’s Forefathers Day! On this day, we celebrate the anniversary of the pilgrims’ landing in Plymouth, Massachusetts on December 21, 1620. This holiday is also sometimes celebrated on the 22nd instead of the 21st due to a calendar mix-up that occurred hundreds of years ago! This happened before some of us were on this site. This also includes the story of the FIVE KERNELS OF CORN. I don't know if I believe that one or not but it is part of the festivities. Most people will see this celebration tomorrow when they look to see what they should celebrate but for us........ we will know. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Hello Darci, it got cold here after the rain moved out Sunday. It's supposed to warm up and rain again for our Christmas. Oh well, we get it when the Lord sends it. I made my last pan of meringues last night. Happy midweek, enjoy your day!
