Good afternoon. It's a wonderful rainy day here. And it's 55F. I think it might rain all day. We have a chance for more rain tomorrow and a yucky frozen mix on Saturday. I am enjoying the rain as it has been so dry here. And it smells so good. I hope you are enjoying your afternoon. I have been busy cleaning out the fridge, putting clean sheets on the bed and taking out trash in the rain. Well take care my friend --hugs--
Mother Nature is very confused on this first Thursday of April.
We had such HIGH winds that all the dandelion seeds have been scattered all over our yard and throughout the neighborhood.
As you can see, Carly is guarding all the dandelions in our yard.
Then the clouds come and go in all colors and shapes. Just looking down on us and laughing. We are going to be in the mid 30's on Monday Morning.
But about the time we all settle down in our chairs, three, yes 3 of the loudest cracks of thunder rock our world and we get a 10 minute shower. Then it is over and the gray sky is bright again.
Then sure enough, the Cardinals are back out drying their wings, eating seed, and listening to the mockingbirds sing the most beautiful songs.
It's Friday Eve, WAnda! And a stay indoors kind of day with humidity at 90% and dew points at 70* The next few days are to be even higher temps (pushing 90*) so this girl will do her outside work in the morning and enjoy the a/c all afternoon! It's a good day regardless of Mother Nature attempting to confuse us as to the season we are actually in. We all just roll with it, right? Have a great afternoon and evening.

I know you must be thrilled with your new kitchen! I need to redo the cabinets in this house, I've scrubbed them so much to get them clean, I've about cleared off most of the varnish..
LOL! you make the same kind of "homemade" bread that I do Wanda! I also like to make those 2 ingredient cakes what we call "dump cakes"...it's actually 3 counting all that butter we put all over the top!
I just love my new master shower, so bright and light...I usually like the darker tiles, but after moving in to this house, seeing them with years of grime/mold on the shower, and trying to get them clean, I wanted the new tile and glass to be as light and bright as I could go without it being stark! LOL! I need to get a good glass cleaner though, the water here leaves a lot of spots on the glass door.
I'm with you about eating junk food, it seems like the more I try NOT to eat it, I end up shoveling in more then what a pig would eat in it's slop...like today, for lunch I had a salmon patty, and green beans with corn... mostly it was healthy, but by 3 p.m. I had popped a bag of popcorn, poured a little melted butter over it and salted it good, while downing a Dr Pepper! LOL! THEN after finishing off that bag, I ate a Butterfinger candy bar. I don't usually have a soft drink, I've been told by doctors to stay away from them...so for almost 10 yrs, I drink plain water... but I jumped right off the deep end without a care in the world! LOL!

Good late afternoon to you. It's been a busy day. Went and saw my son today. He wasn't feeling good and his wife didn't have time to come home at noon for lunch so I took the grand dog out and fed her. Trey was going to take a nap. So I left and went shopping. Shouldn't of done that. I spent to much money and went to 3 different places. I posted 2 more pictures in my gallery. As I was taking out the trash I noticed my purple lilac bush had flowers on it. I was so happy. Not much else goiong on. I hope you have a great evening my friend and take care. --Hugs--
