Hi there. I woke up a few minutes before 5 this morning to it thundering. Had a lot of flashing lightening, but unfortuntely no rain. Oh well, we have a chance for rain tonight and tomorrow so hopefully we will get some. Not a lot going on here. Got all my housework done and took a nap so I'm good for the rest of the day. Do you have any plans for the weekend? We don't, just going to be lazy. Tony has been working hard at work so tomorrow we will be lazy. Goin to get up to almost 100 this afternoon. To hot for me. I'm ready for it to cool off. Then I will be complaining that its to cold. I like Spring and Fall. What is your favorite season? I will go for now my friend. Take care and enjoy your weekend. Still very hot here, the heat index was 93 at 10 oclock last night. Well, this too shall pass. I'll take heat and humidity over a hurricane any day. lol. Have a good weekend!
Today was a blur. Had a very bad nite so didn't get but a couple hous sleep and my feet felt like fire. Finally got up at 8 and stayed up till 10. Checked to see if I took my pills and I didn't. Took them asap - no wonder my feet were that bad. Went back to bed at 10 and slept till 3. Woke up much better. So nothing great was done today but I did change the bed and warmed up some chicken brocolli alfredo and the tomato salad. We got a short downpour that was welcomed by all the plants and flowers. There were lots of dark clouds all afternoon and then cleard up nice and bright after it rained. Friday is on it's way and then the weekend. Have you any plans Wanda? It'll be the sme for us - out on Friday nite, rest and house work on Sat. and game nite Sunday. Havee yourself a good time. Hugs, Wendy
Golden August celebrated on my mini pine. Finally got my back shots; the doc hit a nerve this time & it felt like I had been tased! I have to take it easy for 3 days & then--oh joy (not really!) I can start doing some light housekeeping.😉
Here we go, ready or not, Thursday is here. I work Friday, Monday and Tuesday. I will then be home full time starting Wednesday. Do you have plans to go anywhere or do anything fun?
I think I would enjoy a train ride through the rocky mountains but not sure I would trust most of the train tracks of today.
Now a nice quiet boat ride would be fun but I am not interested in running the rapids any time soon.
I do like water, but I am not a swimmer per say. I like fishing from the bank better than from a boat. I love sitting on a bank and listening to the sounds.
And few people love a good rain with thunder and lightning more than I do. Please Lord, let it rain soon all over the state of Texas. We need blessings!

Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. I was gone most of my day visiting with my son and his finance'. We had lunch together and then played a video game of mini golf. I forgot how much fun that was to play. Now I'm back home and doing the laundry and will do the breakfast dishes here shortly. Its a nice day here. Only in the mid 80's. I will go for now. Take care.
