I was reading that the fireworks have been rescheduled for tonight. I could have sworn I heard it last night. During the day today, I am expecting more severe rain. This is a minor marathon I recorded yesterday. I felt like jumping in but I had no credentials to be on the premises.
Good morning. Happy Friday. After a lot of rain yesterday and into the night, it stopped early enough to allow the fireworks to happen. I was doubtful being the flooding conditions across the river and then more rain happening. A quick perusal of the weather forecast for today indicates some rain again. We are fortunate to have so many places for the water to go so we don't have any real flooding in the city. I got out and rode around on my motorcycle yesterday and of course I have published pictures of the Riverfest and the mighty Mississippi River which seems to be exceeding its banks. Uncertain today of an agenda. I may go to church but that will be a game time decision in approximately 1 hour, maybe a couple of minutes longer. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!

Good morning. It seems cool (71*) in the house. 59* outside, going to 72* later. It has been raining all night. Started last night around 11PM and supposedly will continue to about 9AM, give or take a few minutes. I have cancelled my exercise for today, unless I go later but the odds are against that. I am counting down to the dental appointment for tomorrow. I received a call yesterday informing me the dentist will not be there to yell and chastise this patient. I could see the guy he hired but I do not do that. The FOURTH OF JULY is close. People going to Riverfest and so forth. People who have lives enjoying themselves. I used to be one of those people. Good morning. Started off at 52*, heading for 73*. Got started early this morning, into the darkness with caution. I almost felt like going back in and getting a jacket but conquered the feeling. The dead deer is still on the sidewalk from yesterday. I was cautious walking there to make sure some bear or other panhandler was not there eating it. Nothing planned. Maybe a short walk to the convenience store for some bananas. Game time decision. Holiday week is coming up so people will be moving around. Riverfest week. Have a good day.
