ABOUT ME

I’m originally from CT, then moved to FL in April 1986.

My first husband passed away in May 1997. I remarried a great guy named Gary (he too was a widower) on April 14, 1999 (my birthday).

I have one daughter (nhlisa), 3 step-children and 6 grandchildren.

I am an animal lover. We have 2 dogs (Maggie & Rusty).

I worked in a hospital since I was 17. I started out as a dietary aid and worked my way up to head cook/supervisor.

When I moved to FL, I took a job at a retirement home and then a hospital. I worked there until I married Gary and then retired at age 50.

We traveled out west for 3 months in our motor home. Now we are home bodies who just enjoy life, our dogs and each other.

WHAT I LIKE

I just love collecting carousel horses. Have turned several childrens rocking horses into carousels. Paint them & hubby makes me the pole & base.

Just started collecting Trail of the Painted Ponies figures.

I like to work in the garden , go for short walks with my dogs & riding my bicycle.

Like to travel & visit family & friends.

Playing games on the computer, playing with the Wii game & my computer.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE

I don't like snakes, they scare me.
Otherwise I pretty much don't have any dislikes except maybe rude people.

HOBBIES

Guess I covered this in the what I like catagory.
Collecting carousels & horses of any kind.

Hi Phyllis, 


Hope you're having a great St. Pat's Day.  We worked in the yard for a couple of days, and have replanted some things and weeded out a lot of the dead stuff.  I hope we through with the freezes.  I'm ready for spring and summer.

Had little Alexis on Monday and we played hide and seek and had a lot of laughs when we played that! Only 16 mo. old! Understands a lot for her age. Such a joy just wish I could bottle up her energy! LOL  Hope your week is going well my friend.
