Good Morning Minnie. Here I am just catching up on messages. The time passes so quickly and I do get behind at times.
How are you? Did you do anything special for the New Year? I did sit up late but were in bed, before the festivities began so never saw the Fireworks in Sydney, Adelaide until the following day on the TV. Apart from that, it was a quiet day at home.
it's a pleasant day outdoors. Not hot, however, they say it will be over 40c Friday and into Saturday. That's Ok as then it is meant to cool down again. Not like last week with almost every day well over the old 106°. That played havoc with my legs and ankles as they became very swollen so had to pack them in ice every so often. That did help. It really is Salad and cold meals weather.
Went to town yesterday and had my hair cut then called in to visit with my elderly friend now in the Aged Care Home. Gave her some newspapers and a Calendar as she was finding it hard to work out what the day was unless she asked someone. It's not hard to lose track of time.
Have been slowly going through cupboards, and drawers sorting out what needs to be kept and what to dispose of. It's amazing how a person can accumulate things.

It is a sunny, gorgeous Saturday and I am so excited. It's been ages since we've had a weather forecast that, for a whole week, doesn't include a chance for rain. I will be thoroughly enjoying the sunshine and break from the monsoons! Anything special happening with you this weekend? We have no plans at all so will just see what the day brings.
