Friday is all about the coffee! We are going to pick up our grocery order. The problem with that is it is 45 minutes away... one way!
So getting dressed and staying cool is the BIGGEST factor today. Our days are now in the 90's each day until the rain comes back, maybe Monday.
So this yard, belonging to my Boss, hopefully has dried up and we won't see anything like this again this year.
Now I must brag on my neighbors, Bennett's soccer team was undefeated this year and they won first place. Jessica is a pretty proud Mom!
The whole family went earlier this week to pick Blueberries. Livvy and Jessica brought us a small container of Blueberries picked fresh to our door and they WERE delicious.
This photo takes me back to childhood. On a steamy day like today, we'd don our bathing suits and go play in the creek that ran through our property. So refreshing. Then we'd come home and hang our suits over the porch railing to dry. I miss those days of innocence! We've done our errands and grocery pick up and now I'm going to start a new crochet project (a sun hat). Have a great afternoon/evening.

REMEMBERING and HONORING the 5,000 men that died during the D-Day Invasion...June 6, 1944 the LONGEST DAY in American History.
There is no greater sacrifice than dying for others and dying to preserve the freedoms we believe in.
"The eyes of the world are upon you. The hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you." — Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower's message to the troops before the invasion, 1944
"They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate." — President Franklin D. Roosevelt, radio broadcast, June 6, 1944
The rain, here, lately, has been spotty, at best. But what we got in the 2 previous months, more than made up for that, when we got drenched. This has got to have been the wettest year ever,,,
GOOD MORNING, LOVE HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Darci, I pray YOU have a TANTILLIZINGLY THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a TRANFORMATIONAL WEEK, my friend...
Good morning. Vast celebrations in my neighborhood of the eradication, if you will, of my horrible toenail. I never thought I would get it off. And of course it is GARBAGE DAY. I shall not be fully participating in this as I made some drops the last few days in the city containers. I may, under the cover of darkness, deposit some suicidal food, donuts, in the neighbor's container. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
This is a picture I made years ago of my friend Wilma and me..Her funeral is tomorrow..I wont be able to go but her family knows they are in my thoughts..I hope you all had a good day. I am good one day then the next I am yucky again..But more good now then yucky..lol..Good Night friends..Hugs
