   Good morning Darci....

 It rained really hard here yesterday. I like to watch and listen to the rain. Sat at the kitchen table and watched it roll down the window. Makes me feel cozy. The only thing missing was the cup of hot chocolate...Got my hair permed and trimmed a few days ago. Needed a fresh perm. My hair on the top was starting to flatten. I wear the top shorter than the rest, so when it starts to grow out, it just falls over to the sides and drives me crazy. So now that's done. Do/did you ever have a perm?  From looking at your picture, it looks like you have thick hair.. No plans for Saturday. How about you - any plans for Saturday? Hugs for you, Darlene

Good evening dear Darci,

and I'm looking forward to decorating

the house and yard for Christmas.

It will be a lot of work again,

but I'm really looking forward to the winter vacations.

I would be especially happy if we had snow this year.

But that's very unlikely,

because it's very difficult to get snow in Germany.

Now I'll wait another week and

then I'll start decorating for Christmas.

My grandchildren and my daughter will help me,

my husband is less patient with such tasks.

Actually, the day turned out quite well. I went to various secondhand shops, with Crow, and our eldest son, Carl, aka, Laughing Otter, and got a lot of things to accomodate my most recent acquisitions. So things went quite well...

Happy Friday. It is 36* with a feel good temp of 28*. Walking into the wind made it feel like winter. Heading for 46* later. Yesterday it got into the 60s and it was so nice I went out and cut some brush and branches. I usually don't have ambition as I have no real way of transporting it. Now my yard is a mess. For years I used surreptitious methods of getting rid of it. Now I try to be almost legit. Today I may do nothing. Pondering church but that is a game time decision. Have a good day.
