Yes Darci, I love to read. However, now I usually read on my iPad with the Kindle app. I have over 6k books working toward 7K but they are all free books. We have been outside in the backyard most of the afternoon. It is 69° right now but a bit windy. We uncovered the plants and redid two plugs, one for heater and one for lights. Time for a shower!

It has been a productive Friday for me, how about your day? It's sunny and nearly 60*. A gorgeous day. We are in a severe drought in my area, however, and could seriously use some good rainfall. Looks bleak for the next many days. I've ordered some new (to me, anyway) books from Thrift Books and look forward to their arrival in a week or so. I'm reading my next to last book and always panic when I've just one book left! Do you enjoy reading?
Happy Friday my friend. Its a beautiful Fall day here. Its 73* and beautiful sunshine. I hope you are having a good afternoon. And have a good weekend too. Take care, Many hugs, Cheryl
Friday again? Where did the week go? Well, we might as well start the weekend. Can you believe some schools are out today for the Texas Rangers World Series Champions parade?
Don't forget that we have to change all the clocks this weekend because you get an extra hour before church starts on Sunday.
The colors this time of year are so vivid and beautiful most days. We are starting a slight warm up each day starting today, from 45° to maybe 70°.
In fact, it might be a perfect day for a hike. There is this beautiful lake I would love to visit. Do you want to come along?
If you were thinking of this one, I don't think I will be visiting it any time soon. You are on your own. On second thought, I need to go in the backyard and uncover plants today.
Hello there Darci. I sent some rain over but not too sure if you got it?! I did hear your great voice message it was
such fun and very endearing to hear your pretty accent too. I am not sure if you sent me two voice messages or one. I am pretty sure I heard one, not two. My goodness; November and another step closer to the end of another year. How fast it went by. Wishing you a cosy warm Friday & weekend ahead. Take care! Love Tarlia
I hope you have had a great week. It was beautiful the beginning of the week but did it ever cool down! It sure is cold but by Saturday it will start to warm up and next week will be back in the mid 70's.
There were a few festival activities this week for the grandsons to enjoy. They sure got their share of candy and had fun going through it when they got home. so fun.
Good afternoon to you. Its a lovely 67* here . I just love the weather. Even though its dry here, we need some moisture but I'm not wanting snow or ice. Just some nice rain. Went to the second hand store today and got me some blouses. That place has so many clothes that it takes a while to go through them. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon and evening my friend and take care. Hugs to you, Cheryl
