Long hard day yesterday shopping and putting stuff away. But today we are going to be working in the yard.
It is so nice to have the best Hubby in the world to help with yard work. We have 3/4 acre with trees and plants. I will mow and he will help empty the bags. We bag in spring and fall when there are lots of weeds.
Then he will spread fertilizer with hopes that Wednesday the North wind will not blow it all away and that on Thursday we will get a little rain on it but not a downpour to wash it away. Soon, beautiful grass will be growing.

Good afternoon/evening to you. Its been a long day for me. I wasn't feeling good this morning, so I just hung out on the couch until like 2 this afternoon. Whatever it was went away. I'm hoping it won't be back tomorrrow. Just had a upset stomach. Its a warm, 79* and very windy. Tomorrow is going to be another windy and warm day. Hi Darcy...hope your day has been good..I had to leave early this morning but when I got home I made banana bread and have a roast in the oven...I told a friend on here that one day I was going to put pictures up of me thru the years and things I have done...not so much about me but my family...I had started it some time ago after going through some CD's and just revampted it..Put a pic of my MIL on it for those like you who have been so kind and helped me get through the rough parts...I wont be keeping the page up long as I do like to keep them private...Have a nice night..hugs
Today we are going to break a record as we will be 93° and tomorrow we will break another record as we hit 88°.
Today we will run errands. Since I was working for 2 weeks the dogs need food and we need several things.
Tomorrow we will work in the yard. I hope it is not too late to put out pre-emergent and fertilizer. Can you believe the harvest of strawberries I got Friday from my 2 plants that have been under the plastic. Lots more ripening now too.
Hard to believe, a week ago our youngest granddaughter turned 15. Michelle ran track Saturday and did really well. Her sister, Nicole, got first in Shot Put.
We enjoyed being at Rainforest Cafe with her to celebrate! So now we are off and running today in this beautiful summer weather!
Good morning. Good to get the weekend over with and get on with reality. 20* now and heading to the 60s later. However, going back to cold weather later in the week. Comparatively speaking, this has been a warm winter with not many days at zero. Someone down the street told me we are going to zero in the next ten days but I do not see it. Have a good day. Happy Sunday to you and hope its been a blessed one for you. So sorry I missed a mid week visit to you but this week was so busy. Seems anything that is going to break has chosen this yr to do so! But the Lord provides and has seen me through each situation.
Its a sunny cool day but the temps will feels so nice this week and may find time for a little yard work.
Today is my dad's 83rd birthday. Jamie and Mason came over and walked over with me to give him some birthday fun. He will be going to my brothers for dinner later so he will have a good day.
