Let's start this middle of the week off right! Coffee and a wonderful view!
I am hoping with the cooler weather and possibility of rain, that some of my almost dead plants will start to bloom again.
The cooler temperatures do make for a more beautiful sunrise. A few days ago, I looked up and it was brilliant outside but by the time I got there with my camera, the colors had faded some.
It has been a very long time since we have seen a misty morning. However, in Texas we gladly look forward to every drop of moisture.
Anyway, I hope you have a Blessed Wednesday and enjoy the rest of this week. I will be working on Thursday! Thank you for your friendship! Fategrandma
Good morning. A little cool this morning, about 50*, maybe a couple of degrees cooler in the backyard. This almost makes me want to turn the furnace on but that would be a form of surrender. Nothing happening today, maybe some church. Game time decision. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Honey crisp apples are so good - I know you'll really enjoy them Darci. A bit of excitment here today - Richie's daughter came down from Va. to take him to the hospital as he's been having pains in his stomach area for a week. I couldn't take him as I had to be here with the dogs. After 7 hrs they sent him home after a CT scan and blood work and have him some pills that won't be filled by Walgreens till tomorrow. I didn't sleep good last nite, and I'm tired so I know I'll sleep good tonite. His brother finally got here from Jersey around 5:30 - 6 and brought us the subs, Jersey tomatoes and a huge cantaloup. He also gave us a dozen great rolls from there too. So many good things from Jersey this time of year. So glad the dog is gone - he was really good - but slobbers so much and hounds our LuLu all the time. I know he was overjoyed to see his owners though and now he'll eat as he wouldn't here. His daughter left at the same time as she got subs from him and I gave her a tomato and some rolls. I''m so sad to see it get dark so early anymore. It was rather hot today with a temp of 88. Guess you had a hot day too. Have a good nite and a good tomorrow Darci.
Tuesday cuteness! Saw this cute graphic and thought it looks so much like the new puppy my friends in Lubbock just picked up Saturday.
Meet Rosie! They have been waiting about a year for the conception and birth. Then they got to pick the one of 6, 3 boys & 3 girls, that they wanted.
Nicole and Michelle came over with my son, Wayne, and DIL, Evelyn, on Saturday afternoon. They all 4 get their haircuts in FATE.
Wayne and I sat outside on the patio filming the 15-20 hummingbirds in the backyard. We loved watching them fly with their tail spread out and the males red throats in the sunshine. These two are females.
This Hummingbird is showing off his tail feathers. You can see the white at the bottom of each one.
There are 3 hummingbirds in this picture. One you can almost see the red throat. When the sun hits them just right, the red is brilliant. Counting my blessings one by one.
Good morning. It is 49* and going to 67* this afternoon. The big story of the day is the empty chocolate milk container. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
We went to the American Legion today as the Patriot Riders were to end their run ther.e in honor of 9/11. We got there late, but stayed to have something to eat and drink. Our friend joined us and got the rest of the fried shrimp - lucky them. Came home and I made dinner later and Rich called his daughter - she came down to take him to the hospital but he didn't want to go - he's been having adominal pain for several days now. I'll take him in the morning and when his daughter comes, I'll leave to come home for the dogs. We are watching his brother's boxer till they come back tomorrow sometime. If Rich is still in the hospital, they might go there before going home, but they'll have the dog so I doubt it. I'll go as LuLu can stay by herself. Hope you had a good start tothe new week and that you honored all the lives lost in the horrible day - 20 years ago. Hugs, Wendy
Good afternoon my friends. Its a rainy day here. We have a little over 2 inches so far. Its been raining here since sometime last night. Its supposed to do this most of the week. What a blessing it is and with much cooler temperatures. This rain is making me sleepy. I've been working on another Lego project that we got at Target in Oklahoma City on Friday. I worked on it most of the afternoon yesterday and its a Botanial Garden Lego Bird of Paradise flower. So far I have gotten the bottem part done witch is the pot. Its a lot of work. Well I shall quit rambling on about stuff and go and get my clothes folded and put away. Enjoy the rest of your day and I'm hoping its cooler where you live. Take care and hugs, Cheryl
