Gosh there are times when I miss the sunshine so very much! Now rain and thunderstorms, I love them. But cloudy and dreary weather is not my thing.
Do you just like quiet time to sit and think? What do you think about or wonder about?
On a cloudy day you might not even be able to see each step in this winding staircase. There is not a room in our house that is dark even at night.
There is beauty all around us! I wonder where those steps lead? I am not a hiker but I love to take off in the car and just turn down a road to see where it goes.
Just about anyone who spends time with my hubby really loves to just sit and listen to his stories, mostly true, of his life. He has an awesome memory (he is awesome) and each story is an adventure!
One of my precious friends sent this recently and I love my quiet times saying prayers for each of my friends. Yes, I am thinking of you and sending you...
Good morning. Waiting for the snow storm. Supposedly midnight tonight until Wednesday. The word is 5 to 7 inches. The only thing concerning this writer is the splint on my wrist and not being able to put a glove on that hand over the splint. I would not even shovel unless the snow plow makes it difficult at the mailbox. I would not even be concerned over that if it was not tax season. HUMBUG! I am planning an excursion to Walmart for something in about two hours, give or take 42 seconds. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
We had snow showers here today left over from the storm yesterday and when it was all over with we got about 5" and we made $25.00 for shoveling our neighbors sidewalk/driveway Orange Roughy is in the whitefish family and it is very good it's a little pricey though tonight we had roast chicken mashed potatoes and corn we cooked the chicken in the crock-pot and the potatoes was idahoan instant potatoes and we made them in the microwave now Ceil is in the bedroom watching TV while I answer my comments here and after I answer my comments I'm going to design my page Hugs,Rob & Ceil
I hope you are enjoying a relaxing Sunday. it's a very windy chilly day here so its definitely an inside day. The sunshine is nice coming through the windows though.
Good Morning! I am thankful for a beautiful day. This past week we got a little rain and by mid January we will drop into the 20's. But today we should have some sunshine and get near 60 before the next several cold fronts.
I am thankful for the ups and downs that keep our hopes alive and guessing, "What is next?"
So whether you have lots of snow, some snow or no snow on the ground, let's be thankful for what we have now.
I seem to remember that many, many years ago, I might have prayed for snow. What was I thinking? I always tell others to be careful what you ask for and here I am hoping I don't get what I asked for.
This Sunday, I am just trying to be thankful for His protection and the blessings I have right now.
Don’t just ask Me to bless what you have already decided to do. Ask Me what I want for you. I may fill your heart with a dream that seems impossibly far beyond your reach. And that dream will be bigger than anything you can do on your own. But remember, nothing is beyond My reach.
Good morning. 30* heading for 33*. Tomorrow night, expect snow, maybe a storm. I hope it is not too bad as I still have the splint on and I can not wear a glove on my hand. Of course it is the fates that decide everything. Today, nothing planned. Maybe a walk in the neighborhood and hear a voice not electronically created. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
We finally got the snow I've been waiting for. The plow went by our place twice tonight and we live on a back country road. Usually the side roads are done last. People must not have been prepared with the proper tires because a couple of vehicles slid off the road out on the main highway. People going too fast for conditions. Everyone in a hurry going nowhere (as my dad always use to say). Lisa said her area has been getting a lot of rain lately. I guess you're in the same area (different town, but same area). Just think if all that rain would be snow. lol. I don't think the people who live there could handle it. Gee, even the ones up here can't handle it. This is the first real snowfall we've had this winter season. Sure did hold off this time. Normally, we get the first snow in December, making for a white Christmas, but no snow for Christmas this time. Don't care for a green Christmas. I don't think Bing Crosby would like a green Christmas either. lol
